Those scale runs that Jimin did are actually done in a lot of traditional Korean music. So it's REALLY cool they added those in. And Jimin would do those runs flawlessly LIVE every single time he sings this whilst doing ridiculous choreo. Also I would love for you to react to 'BTS (Jimin's) - LIE'. It's one of the most unique songs I have ever heard! The way it moves from major to minor... Man it's amazing!

Fun fact: RM (Namjoon) wrote this song! He's one of the 3 rappers in BTS and has actually written a large part of their discography. You should look up the guide that he made! He sounds really good. The lyrics are actually really beautiful and poetic. RM is a genius lyricist and with Jimin's voice this song is just perfect.

@@laylascott6096 I saw the Chicago shows for both the Love Yourself and the Speak Yourself tours. I was slightly less emotional for the SY tour but I was also much closer to the stage so I think I was a little overwhelmed at seeing them up close. The LY perf was just...so intense every ARMY there was going through it with him lol. My girlfriend held me while I bawled my eyes out and she was crying and it was like a group therapy session. We all had our hearts healed. It sounds kind of silly when I try to explain it but I don't know how else to do so.

I’m only ARMY like 5 months, Jimin bias and for some reason I feel like I’d be so star struck by him, even though I’ve seen a ton of musicians/shows throughout my life. I never was a listener of music except classics in my car, never attended concerts except PURPLE RAIN.
But I watched BLACK Swan, I was captivated and mesmerized by Jimin's dance and the song, whole stage performance brought my heart to be opened to the new generation of fantastic music.
I am 74, not too old to hike to the Mt. Everest last year, now I am on my new interest as an ARMY, and taking a time traveling train back.
I am saved definitely as I found something I like and passionately crazy about.

I love this song so so much. It was my first comeback with BTS and, oh boy, when I tell I was SHOOKETH. Jimin has such an angelic voice, and the melodies in this were amazing (Namjoon se lució con esta). Un diez de diez.

Thank you! Sooooo adore this song. 💜I swear it’s next level live and because you like visuals you would not be disappointed. It’s not a ‘stand and sing’ performance. The stage mix version of the live is beautifully mixed. Highly highly recommend you watch as I feel like you’re missing out on some of the magic. Please please listen to Lie...also by Jimin...it has some unusual/ surprising musical features as well as being heartbreaking. Again, after the lyrics version, the live is the version to watch as it retains all the musical depth but adds a layer with the dance performance. The mv is storyline related rather than a representation of the song so only watch that as an extra, not as the actual version.
From a music and production point of view i think Jimin's Lie is even more interesting than Serendipity! But i might be biased because it's my favorite bts solo song :D

I love hearing someone with your background talk about songs. Have you listened/reacted to any of August D D-2 mixtape yet? I saw a discussion on twitter about the unusual/interesting production choices Suga made specifically on the song Hansool that was very fascinating. As someone with no knowledge of production techniques etc... and some one who know how a song makes me FEEL but can't break down why it makes me feel that way it is so mindblowing to know learn all the little choices made along the way in production help produce that feeling.
I also love listening to a song stripped and just hearing the background vocals- so interesting to "hear" what you don't "hear" that helps make a song.
