I dont see what improvements it has made. I used this airport to transit in 2018 and 2019. I felt the same in this video also. However, many government run airports in India have improved once they have given a role to private management.

I had been to Adani lounge using my ICICI debit card free access and it's an awesome lounge. Also i spot this flight every night from my terrace (City - Vijayapura) using flightradar24 between 12.20 to 12.30 am. This flight roughly takes 30 to 40 mins to reach Vijayapura skies. A380s big lights in the night sky is clearly visible.
There is one thing,which i dont like on a380.. small and strange windows, quite bad for filming.. but it can't work somehow..😅 Would like to tryout their Suites one day.. You said you are flying to Prague in Quites, there was an plane change to B777, must be you! If yes, i have pics of your arrival, so if you want i can send it to you 😊 I ACCIDENTALLY booked another SQ A380 flights to tryout their dinner/lunch service... Agree fully with how you feel about red-eye flights from Mumbai. Too long a flight to stay up, too short a flight to get a proper night's sleep. Butflying business class helps! 😁
I always enjoy your videos and this one did not disappoint? Now, that orange ‘juice’ reminded me of Tang. It’s was a powered fruit drink - I loved it as a kid - since it was associated with the Apollo Space Program. The product was launched in 1958 - year I was born. Haven’t seen it in ages. TBH, I like ‘Greek salad’ not sure what that was, but there’s a tendency to call something Greek when you add feta or oregano? Not a fan of Indian food, but I would eaten that over that lobster Thermidor - didn’t look very appealing? I mean Escoffier would be turning in his grave. Maybe that dish needs to reinvented or go on vacances? BTW, I think the alcohol might have had something to do with you waking up later😏😂. Cheers 🥂
Awesome video, as always. I am always surprised by how BOM and DEL routes routinely manage to fill the entire business class cabin on the SQ and EK A380s. Maybe Air India made a mistake by not acquiring A380s in a premium-heavy configuration for their flagship routes.
I think they did a big mistake with that as it’s almost always full, even economy. EK, EY, QR and others fly lots of wide bodies a day between both countries and always full!
I once went on the business class on their A380 from Delhi to Singapore. Their service was top level and it was too good . I felt private in the business class seat. It was one of the two only airlines in which I flew in an A380 (The other one was emirates). Their airport is also too good that if you go, you will even forget that you are in an airport. Singapore is too good everywhere, even their airline and their airport. Singapore airlines is expensive even in economy, but its worth it.
Whenever I notice I won’t bother. I really don’t think much about it. Sometimes crew will come to introduce themselves on some airlines and I’ll just give it then. Or by the door on boarding if there is nobody behind me. Have a nice one my friend!
SQ and EK A380s from BOM are red eye flights because they are scheduled to conveniently connect passengers to other destinations such as Europe, North American flights
Do you prefer the seats on the A380 or the A350/777? The A380 seats look like they provide more privacy and it's easier to convert between bed and seating mode.
Someone told me airbus aircraft a350 a380 etc tend to be more spacious slightly wider seats etc in economy compared to Boeings 777 300 or the 787 in your experience do you think the same
I flew SQ business class from DPS > SIN > LHR last year. Impressions were that the service is consitently 5* but the food I was served on all flights was dissapointing and a much lower standard than QR. I also don't like how it's difficult to see out of the window on the business class seat and how you can't dine on demand...
Nope! I don’t mind paying for a good sleep if I’ve got to work, but not even 4 hours you can get on this flight is enough.. But the experience to at least try is ok!
I don't like the cabin-layout, the windows on the A380 are terrible on their own but here the cabin-layout makes it even worse... I rather stick to economy, great vid anyway! 🙂
Almost no airline is nowadays. And I understand. Pilots can get into trouble. I could contact the airlines directly to ask but am a bit lazy to do so. Who knows some day!

This shows India only revolves around Mumbai-Delhi-Hyderabad-Bangalore-Ahmedabad. Poor old Kolkata where time stands still as if 1970s SQ only throws in little planes even though Kolkata is closer to Singapore. A lack of vision and willingness to push Kolkata out of the old Havana syndrome and making it a hub in South Asia - still a far cry.
I chose to travel from Kolkata as i wanted to explore Kolkata 😊 but yes the airport needs an upgrade in various departments, i wish to see it closer to new airports like Hyderabad or Bangalore one day.

Unless the Boeing aircraft have a 3-3-3 configuration on the B777 or 2-4-2 on the B787, which is SUPER rare.
