@@jamessolanki9969 On 1 January 2024, a 7.6 earthquake struck 7 km north-northwest of Suzu, located on the Noto Peninsula of Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Pretty bad destruction that was not widely reported.
Kudos for being brave and venturing into the dim sum place alone without any language knowledge! Dining solo abroad can be intimidating but I'm glad you powered through 😄 Hong Kong and Singapore looked great, glad you enjoyed both! And the air travel didn't seem too bad as well 🤩
Protip: If you buy a whole coconut, you can drink the water and eat the white part by digging it inside. You get a plastic spoon to do that. The white part is sweeter than the water, also more healthier too. If you come to a humid country like SG, drink some coconut water to rehydrate yourself after walking under the nice weather 😊 On another part, I'm so happy to see you posting again. Hope you do well and okay every time🎉 ❤
Welcome to Hong Kong! She is my hometown, though not living there anymore (many reasons, you know). The Chinese tea restaurant you visit is famous, but a bit overprice in my opinion. Yet it is quite traditional, so still worth to have a go as tourist. The reason we put some tea to the cup or bowl first is because it is dirty/oily as the restaurant doesn't usually clean it properly, so we clean them with hot water/tea to wash away the remaining oil on the cup/bowl. By the way, try not dip the soy sauce (the one you keep dipping in the video), the dim sum itself should have enough flavour already, the dip only make it worse (in my opinion). Then the view you looked from the mountain top is Kowloon peninsula, no way you can see Shenzhen unless it is a very clear day. Nevertheless Kowloon is a good place to visit with many good resturants or feel some more local living style. Lastly, you really should try those HK roast meat shop(or restaurant). One of the most famour Canton food is Canton style roast pork and garlic+green onion+oil sauce with rice. If you had tried this and dim sum, then you can really say I have visit HK and tried their Canton food. Sorry for typing that much, but really glad you visit for HK for 24 hrs and tried some of the local things
To be fair, even if they cancel your flight you would probably be rebooked to one of their other operating flights, especially both BKK and SIN routes have high frequency, so you don't need to be "lucky" to travel on them.
I found the peppermint drink recipe for you ! How to Make Cathay Pacific’s Cathay Delight Ingredients: ½ cup (135 ml.) whole milk 1 ⅓ tablespoons (20 ml.) coconut milk 1 cup (240 ml.) kiwi juice Mint leaves Optional: alcohol of choice Steps: Pour all ingredients together in a blender; keep some mint sprigs aside. Add in ice. Blend until combined and frothy. Pour into your favorite glass. Garnish with mint sprigs. Enjoy
My partner loves the asian culture. I showed him one of your videos a while back and he was glued to it. We love your content. I'll watch this with him later tonight. Much love.

Greetings from the US. Another great Video Kuga...fortunately I worked for the airlines (Continental) and got to visit all three spots. Brings back great memories, and I will get back to each.
Solo Solo san! So glad you visited my city Hong Kong! I’m a big fan of yours. It seems you were in Switzerland while I was there too! And now in HK! Wished I had the chance to show you around. The dim sum place where you rinse the cup is for washing. Wash your cup, chopsticks, spoon. Good job walking the trail to enjoy the view. Which is much better than the one at the peak building.I always bring my tourist friends there.
Another great video , thank you. I just wanted to say, using the tea stirring sticks was a GREAT idea for chop sticks ! At first I laughed, but then I thought… what a great idea ! Be well and thanks again 😊
As a westerner from the east coast of America, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia have always been fascinating to me because they seem so alien to me. Both in language, culture, city design, and the food! Completely different from what I’m familiar with. That’s why I love visiting Asian and South East Asian countries. I know I forgot a bunch of other countries but I love them all.
thank you for sharing your trip to HK and SG. At least you did not get lost and enjoyed the sights and yummy food. There are a lot of other sights in SG and perhaps you can have longer stays when you return.
Singapore looks incredible! Second on my bucket list after Japan. I love how both countries are so clean and respectful. Sadly not like the uk. Thanks for sharing with us.

I've spent more than half of my life in airport lounges traveling across the world on work, this is the first time I've actually felt relaxed watching your journey. You see, when I was travelling it was on work and it was one meeting after the next and host of documentation host of calculations to review, scrutinize and finetune. So I was always stressed and tensed. So, it was good to experience travel through you in a relaxed way. Wishing you Happy Journeys ahead as always.
OMG, my friend! You truly live life to the fullest, and I admire that so much. Please have an incredible time on my behalf, and make sure to prioritize your safety. I send you all my love, as always, and I can't wait to hear about your adventures. Hopefully, we will have the chance to meet in person one day.

The Singapore Zoo Is the best zoo I've ever seen and they take really good care of the animals. All animals have so much habitat! Glad your having such a great adventure Solo San!

hello solo-san i'm a long time singaporean viewer of yours and i'm so happy that you visited our small island! the weather looked great in your video, it has been raining non-stop nowadays (but cooling haha). hope you got to eat lots of yummy food 😋
As a Singaporean, I respect your choice of breakfast. I'd say you were lucky you did not go to the original outlet because the quality control there is bad. And in regards to the food centre, that is sadly the reality of some stores in all hawker centres. If you ever come back to Singapore, I would recommend the Tian Tian Porridge store (breakfast only) in Maxwell Food Centre, and Founder's Bak Kut Teh in Balestier.
Glad that you finally came to Singapore but sad that you didn’t get to do more. I live near the hotel you stayed at! Hit me up the next time you’re in town! 😊
