In todays video I retro fit a newer "sharks mouth" grill or grille on my Acura TL. This is a modern touch on my older Acura. I wasn't sure this would look right on the TL, I didn't think there would be enough of the TLX grille left to make it stand out as a custom made grille but I have to say you smashed it Adam it looks really nice, it looks different but still looks stock, nicely done Sir👌👌👍John UK
You should plastic weld it together it would be nice if you could add a diamond above the Acura emblem but looks OEM and makes the car look more modern

For years, people were gatekeeping this mod and this guy… This legend revealed the secret recipe. I no longer have a TL (I have a TLX now) but, man I wish I had this video 3 years ago
lol i saw a hand full of others doing this mod and I dont want to come off a cocky, but their approach is far less appealing then the way mine turned out lol
Love it, always saw the grill as a weak point design wise on the car and like how you fused both generations together.

Definitely paint the H bracket from that chrome/silver to black. Keep the H gloss chrome. Turned out better than i expected. Nice work, bro.

This totally reminds me of what I did to my 2006 Scion tC...I took the bottom OEM Grill and made that as my custom Upper Badgeless Grill utilizing the Upper Chrome bezel as the frame and trimming that bottom grill and then I Zip-tied it to the Chrome Frame and Wa-Laa!!...Custom Badgeless Grill!

I did the same thing but I integrated the tlx grill into my carbon fiber Shark Mouth grill.
Well I used an RDX grill but same thing.
