    Orrrrrr you can eat 100 grams of chia seeds and you get your 30 grams of fiber

      @@Lil-Dragon you don’t like refrieds or Bush’s Original baked beans? Both are delicious if you add diced cooked bacon and shredded cheese on the refrieds. If you go for the Chia you also get Omega 3s, but be aware you should add the seeds to a glass of water and let it sit about 15 minutes as they will absorb some of the water and swell many times their size. You want that expansion to take place before you ingest. Some people apparently have choked them down dry and then drinking fluids afterwards. This causes an emergency situation that can require surgery or worse.

      Bad idea. Chia seeds are very difficult for the system to digest.

    actually in America trying to get 50 grams. I aim for 50 g I rarely get it because it's too hard but I do get 30 and with the food choices to get that it keeps me full and it keeps my weight very stable I've never been able to control my weight until I went on a diet where there's 30 to 50 g a fiber and my weight's been stable for years now because of it which is a good thing

      he's a good doctor but fiber like this is unnecessary... as long as you eat enough healthy fats and grass finished beef etc... my man here is basically saying liver king doesn't exist

    i highly recommend the chickpea pasta and pizzas from the brand banza. they taste pretty good and a pizza or a box of mac and cheese has 15g of fiber. lots of protein too. i also like to either make a big batch of lentil stew/dal or buy the premade pouches from trader joe’s. that’s an easy 12g

      @@thewronganswer1187 the key thing is chewing I eat peanuts with shells and fruits with the steam on top and I can say there's no side effects other than a little bit of constipation that looks like squeezed wet paper

      ​@@Euro.Patriot My birds taught me how to do this, you bite it on the sides and it will crack, you keep squeezing it with your teeth carefully until it comes out or you try to open it with your hand
      Sunflower seeds are really delicious, but I advise you not to eat too much of them because they are very fatty and can be bad for your stomach.

    Not with Crohns Disease and a Stoma. A few years ago I ate 3 Strawberries and ended up in hospital for 5 days with a Bowel blockage. I have my 'safe' foods 😭

    I have eds n gastroparisis so me n fuber no mix. If you've got a healthy digestive system then fiber is good. But yeah. My body is dumb.

    I’m poor. I can’t afford food. Food banks here run out of food by the time I get to my turn. I’m lucky if I eat 1 item with any fiber at all. Food is just so expensive. I’m old and alone. My husband of 27 yrs left me when my cancer returned. I’m cancer free now but alone and struggle financially. I haven’t had meat in a few years it’s so expensive.
    My health is crap. I’ll cry thinking about grocery stores.
    Food is for the wealthy

    I eat almost entirely ground meats, cow bone marrow, calf liver, cooked eggs and raw egg yolks, raw milk kefir (no pasteurized), Greek yogurt, honey, banana and apples, sometimes some grapes, a nuts sometimes but less than 15g of fiber a day I'd say, and I'm very regular. And very strong . But yes very regular, and microbiome be strong

    What are the options for fiber intolerant people? My wife gets severely constipated, even impacted if she eats too much fiber, so 30g a day doesn't work for her.

      Even bran? If not, it's not entirely necessary. Fibre is just good for breeding 'good' bacteria (gut-brain axis), clearing out the insides, and weight control.

      Fiber is good for more than just pooping. also reducing chance of colon cancer which is very high when you eat meat. Have her drink water till at least her urine is clear. She can also try mineral oil to help lubricate it
