I was looking for an upgrade for my gamo pellet rifle and this seems to be the one, sighted in in just 4 shots and the back yard tree rodents are on the run.
I just bought the Eliminator IV and mounting it on my Tikka 6.5 Creedmore. Gonna go get it sighted in her soon, looks a littler intimidating but hope I can get this dialed in!!
Congratulations on the video. One question, on Burris' website, what do you mean by There is no remote cable option for the 3-12x version, and this model is " NOT compatible with low-velocity rounds such as subsonic and rimfire." ? I plan to use it on my 22LR and my Remington .243. Thank you.
Do you still have to sight these scopes in like a normal scope first ? Or can you just mount it onto the rifle then program your round into it and away you go ? The laser does it all for you
@@Draz930 Nice! Check out the burris website. I think they have added some ballistics calculators that allow you to calculate drop based on your altitude which can have a bit of a difference vs. sea level.
Not working tomorrow for sure, it's coming till noon. Next weekend I going in wildness with my friend to set it up. I'll check Burris site for sure thanks for advice 😉
It's deadly precise. Don't feel sorry for money I spent on it. The best thing is when I new hunter talking with experienced hunters and I tell them what I got they just dreaming of 😁
I have owned one for three years and would not go back to a traditional scope. It’s awesome and have killed multiple animals. The furthest has been 409 yards.
I have one, and i love it 😉 i allways know where the bullet is placed. Norma Bondstrike, 180 gr in 308 - BC 0,615. Sig sauer ssg 3000 and a burris eliminator 3 is a perfect combination 😊 all hunters should have one, for safe hunt.
Jørgen Engdal Nice! Yeah, the dot placement almost makes it too easy but you also can make the best, humane kill shot possible with it, especially with longer distance shots.
Thats great it has 6.5Creedmoor....I own a savage axis I in that caliber.Im upgrading it with a new chassis and will be needing a good hard working scope for it.Researching it now to decide when to start saving up im sure! LOL
Although the IV is out soon and the same price as the retail III most of us never see ranges exceeding 750 yards and most under 500. The III is all that's needed. Since it adjusts for inclines up to 45 degrees and ballistic calculations are automatic even a novice can start hitting well in minutes. If you have one shot at the target of a lifetime you had better have one of these properly set up on your gun... Just Sayin'
@@travisp11 I just ordered a proof elevation .... I’m trying to decide on a scope to get .... nxs 2.5-10 is looking like it will work well.... and aye those are nice rifles just to heavy for any long walking .... then again if not packing anything big out that far I would not mind

Michael W. Urban Sr. You are paying for all of the bells and whistles. I have to admit, after I range tested this scope it made shooting out to long distances too easy.

Took me a while to figure it out but when I did...it felt like something from a video game. Wherever the dot is, is where the bullet goes.

I had to zero the scope first at 100 yards and then program in the information at the range.
Works Great !
I agree!
Coming in 2 days, was waiting for it a month an a half. Can't wait to install it on my brand new Tikka 😁

What is the Price of this scope?
The 3 is no longer available but the 4 is out here for $2100.
I have owned one for three years and would not go back to a traditional scope. It’s awesome and have killed multiple animals. The furthest has been 409 yards.
I love it!
The only negative I see with it is, it's sfp not ffp. I'm still going to buy one and a sig sauer bdx.
I think it is a very cool scope, definitely worth learning to use.
Shouldnt matter because the BDC is effective at any magnification
Why would you even go for a ffp if this scope automatically adjusts the drop/finds the range etc
That's not a negative
A lot of the American companies have factories and rifle scope labs in the Philippines they save a lot in cost
Yup!
Would this be pointless for someone who hunts 100 or less yards mostly
I think so. It is still fun to use but at a price.
Greetings, good video, congratulations. Other question, can the Eliminator be used in caliber .22LR and 17HMR ?. Thanks for the reply.
It is now rimfire compatible according to the Burris website.
This was a good review/unboxing
Thanks!

Mines box is black? How come? Does that meant it’s the newer or older model of the eliminator 3?

VoiceOF Reality I agree
Good spoke, I want, how much range and cost.
The scope can calculate range out too 1200 yards for $1400, I believe.
Is it fn scar tough??
That is a good question. It can handle 6.5 Creedmoor but I’ve heard that the Scar H does quite the number on Optics.
Is it working with pcp airgun?
Mordok Mmm if you know the ballistics of your ammo I would imagine you could use it with just about anything so long as you can mount it.
@@travisp11 thanks
Does it still hold up?
My friend that loaned me the rifle still takes it out and shoots it. No problems reported.
@@travisp11 I know this comment is 2 years old but how is the scope doing now?
@@Artorias001 the guy who loaned me the rifle still uses it and it hasn’t had any problems.
Does it support 450 bushmaster?
RAVE go to the Burris website and see if they have the ammo listed in the caliber guide for the scope. They should.
@@travisp11 one more question, would this scope fit on a mossberg patriot blued bolt action rifle 450 bushmaster with the walnut stock?
RAVE it should but you may need high rings. I used it on a rifle with a picatinny rail but you can also mount it on a Weaver rail.
travisp11 thx a lot! I’ll figure it out
RAVE right on!
Does it work for crossbow?
I don’t think so. The physics engine is designed around bullets and I don’t think you could apply crossbow bolts and have the scope work properly.
yes
Does it work at night, how is it's light gathering at dusk
It is a very bright optic. I’d say it is fine for lower light conditions as the sun was getting low when I tested it (video is on my channel).
How much price this scope in pakistan
Check Amazon or eBay to see what you can get it for.
