Great goldfield/dogs video. I prefer relic with 40khz max frequency. But both programs work great. Abslotulely love all Shepperds. I have White Swiss Shepperd.
Hello Gary I’ve used the relic mode on 0.71 but like the look of this gold field mode for high conductive targets. Is this gold field programme better on latest update?
Great video Gary. Very interesting. I used a similar technique at the RCM this weekend using the Relic program. I didn't find anything spectacular but, thats because I walked in the wrong places. I used the XY screen too which seemed to be ok. Would you think the Gold would have been any better?

I used it for 1 day and found a gold ring also called poetry ring from France from around 1600-1750 in a field that I have searched for 13 years with both deus 1 and now Deus 2 which is super machine. Still using deus 1 once in a while. "From Denmark"
Gary I love the dogs, especially laying on the coil, LOL. I am going to try these setting in some of my fields. I think it will do good seeing your results. Thanks for sharing.
One of your best videos, Gary! Great info on the gold field program, with dogs as a bonus! I would never attempt to bring my young Golden Retriever with me detecting. Yours did very well out there!
Gaz, another great/informative video, with brilliant humour. Well done! I’ve been using the Goldfield program now for several months with the Deus II, personally wouldn’t use anything else. Setting this program up “thinking outside of the box”,,,,,,,can be really rewarding!!!😉

Gary, good bits of wisdom for the difficult conditions. I had to leave a site once because the neighbor’s dog’s idea of recreation was chasing my coil as it was sweeping over the soils. You couldn’t set anything down or the dog would grab it and run off. When my gloves were taken, I had to leave. 🙂

I use the gold program quite a lot but the coke problem is a real nuisance and some iron objects too and the Equinox 800 ignores completely. If XP could solve the coke problem like Minelab have done then the D2 would be much improved. Dealing with the stubble at Detectival😮
I use goldfield most of the time it's great once you get used to it PS I've gone back to the Deus 1 for stubble seems to be much better and gives me more confidence

Yes they can be too much at times.
