'Karma Police' is one of a number of 'classic' singles lifted from their 1997 album, 'OK Computer'; where they basically raised their game. It's very much of the period too. Odd as it may be, a kind of vulnerability - and dissatisfaction - in their music was a relief at the time. And they continued to innovate as they went.
Been lucky enough to see this performed live a couple of times and the end of the song is transformed into a shared moment between crowd and band that for one will never forget .
i felt that the first time i saw let down, which i'd somehow slept on. the intro and the repeats of it following each chorus, everyone cheering ... that's just live music personified.

The Pretenders - Creep (Live At London's Jakob Street Studios 1995) - This is an the best acoustic version of the Radiohead song. I have both this and the original Radiohead version in my Library.
The whole idea of this music video is based on the assumption that a sentient (though this parameter is not even important) creature will run away from the chase in a straight line, instead of swerving to the side immediately at the very beginning, or when the opportunity arises. At the age of 13, when you watch it for the first time (in the year the video was released), you watch it with your mouth open. 25 years later, it still looks pretty good, if only not for that assumption =)

Radiohead is a life changing band for me. I would recommend HOW TO DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY or PYRAMID SONG next.
