- Join me on an exciting surfcasting adventure as I fish for dabs in the shadow of the iconic Sizewell Nuclear Power Station. With its unique backdrop and rich waters, this spot offers a truly one-of-a-kind angling experience.
In this vlog, I share tips on tackle setup, bait selection, and how to read the surf for the best results. Watch as I battle the elements, cast into the breakers, and (hopefully) land some prime flatfish! Whether you're a seasoned angler or just curious about surfcasting, there's something here for everyone.

You caught some fish Matt and the day looked very peaceful for fishing. What happened with your mate that you done some fishing videos with and have a laugh with especially the hot 🌶️ you tried that cracked me up. Another good video Matt. 🐟

Good video’s Matt, glad to see you back, Sizewell fishes better in front of the caravan park, or past the station, it got a lot deeper there now.
I'll probably head to one of those soon mate. Thanks for watching buddy 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Up the town

Good try Matt was at shingle street had one dab loads of whiting .must of been at least 14 deals in the bay and at least town scraped a win
It's sad as to how those seals are spreading out now to all the marks mate, night sessions are looking the way forward here now to try and evade them.
Only place that fish really do have fingers lol 😊

@@MattCroweAngling222 in the dunes is plane wreckage, north end was a minefield
hi matt , i like the look of that place mate , matt what do you think of those mic's your using mate they sound ok
Cheers mate, the mics are spot on for the cost. I don't want rodes or the like for fishing as they will probably get trashed at some point.
Is that the imax iconic competition shelter you’re using ? I just got one as my 10 year old plus igloo was tired to say the least. Set it up in the living room and I am certainly impressed how much room/space there is inside, what do you think of yours🤔
It's good mate, just make sure the poles go inside each other correctly otherwise it's a nightmare to rectify.
Got mine in Veals Black Friday sale, at £54.99 it seemed a no brainier
Why do you have your rod in the rest at a angle to the sea
@Parker4421 hi mate, this is for better bite indication, side on is much easier to see a bite. Also in strong winds coming along the beach I place this with the wind behind me so the rod is effectively pushed into the rest and the tip is not being blown from side to side.
If you think you can avoid the seals forget it
Such a shame mate but I agree with you 🎣🎣
A 2lb cod will rip 13lb snoods why?
As long as I check the snoods every cast they should be fine mate. If the snood is burred in any way it gets changed.
