I’m honored by your kind words. Although other reviewers are not necessarily bought and paid for, we all get these vehicles from manufacturer for a week to test.
Other reviewers are more conscious of their relationship with the brand so they can constantly get invites to events and new vehicle releases.
I do not care about such things which is why I come across so bluntly. Really my only objective now with this channel is to help consumers save money in this ridiculous car market.

Yes sir def a great all rounder and can serve families really well no B.S. with this it just works. Wish hybrids had discounts that would be sweet
I recently had a 2024 Lexus NX Takumi as a loaner and your driving Impressions of this are exactly my thoughts about the NX. Just a staggering level of refinement for this class of car. Floating on a cloud levels of ride/NVH suppression that in my opinion are on par with Range Rovers from just a few years ago.
New NX is def a nice vehicle especially in the higher trims 👍

I will definitely keep Jim’s info in mind when I’m ready to buy a Toyota, but for now I truly enjoy my Kia Sorento PHEV and Hyundai Ioniq PHEV, they are fun to drive in a different way but overall the fuel savings make me want to keep driving them…which I wish this GH will come up with a PHEV version soon ( don’t like the look of the Lexus TX and the price unfortunately)

Those are some phenomenal cars you own and certainly worth keeping especially if you have a great dealership nearby as Hyundai Kia has the best warranty.
Price of the TX is def a turn off still curious to try one out to see how it performs

The venza is also similar in being a nice vehicle while still being a Toyota. I can't believe the gas mileage in this thing and it seems to be a very comfortable car, great for longer trips. Lots of USB ports are always appreciated but it's taking me a minute to get used to type C. I don't know any type c to type c cables yet but I guess I have to get with the times. Do you think the body roll could have been avoided with better suspension or it's just inevitable due to the size of the car?
Other reviews have suggested this likely is the better value over the TX. I would think this is new enough that I am not surprised the hybrid isn't available at a discount. Assuming it is in stock.
Yea just based off of how good this GH is, they might be right but I would really like to try a TX to be sure I feel like the TX will ride just as well while offering slightly better handling but we shall see.
Yes hybrid stock is scarce most dealers are charging mark ups on those Jim is at sticker on hybrids and he can actually get them so that’s ok but I think I’d rather go gas to get discount
Great review. We don’t get this here, we get the smaller Kluger. The highlander looks like a big tow vehicle but I suspect it would struggle to tow with a smallish 4 cylinder. My step fathers Prado was a good tow vehicle with its 4 cylinder but that was I think a 3 litre and a diesel. I liked his Prado but it idled rough. Very rough until it warmed up after 15 minutes, then it settled into medium rough. My brother who has had a diesel Prado for some years said it’s normal. Might be normal but not ok by me.
The pure gas has 265 hp that's def more than enough not too long ago there were v8s on sale that couldn't even make that much power but towing is ok for a unibody this can do 5,000 lbs. Pathfinder with tow pack can do 6,000 lbs.
Yea I think older diesels were pretty unrefined and why many were turned off by diesels due to early performance but modern diesels have come a long way but with rising fuel costs around the world, I think there's not a drastic difference anymore between diesel and gas but please correct me if I'm wrong about that

Is the noise level inside the cabin comparable to Lexus RX/ TX ?
I’m going to get a TX soon to test but this is either on par with the new RX if not slightly more quieter but pretty close

Yea my friend whenever I look on NHTSA I constantly hear horror stories of sunroofs exploding plus I feel pano roofs can affect the rigidity
I constantly curse the person who paid extra to spec one on my GS. Just another silly point of failure to have to manage for almost no benefit.
Yup got one on my 4Runner as well. My 4Runner was perfect and exactly what I wanted minus the sunroof but caved and got it anyway decided I shouldn't be too picky
This is a very practical vehicle in many respects, but I am not a fan of the rear - so bland and generic. The hybrid MPG is freaking amazing though.
That’s so true the rear end is pretty generic front end looked like a premium take on the RAV4 which I really liked but I’ve noticed many vehicle designs fall apart at the rear.

still boggles my mind how this has great storage in the rear, but the new Sequoia is a complete cluster f*ck
Yea that’s the benefit of being a fwd architecture sequoia is a body on frame RWD platform those vehicles can tow more but will lack space. Tahoe/expedition are massive no compromise vehicles

We got ours and are very happy with it. That being said, I really wish that Lexus offered a TX with the same engine, as we would have loved to go with something like that instead.

I am in the market right now... My 2021 Highlander Platinum Hybrid lease is up soon, and it only has 16,000 miles on it.
I can not find a Grand Highlander Platinum Max in Storm Cloud with the Portobello interior. That's what I would want. I have searched everywhere. P.S. My last resort will be to extend my lease because that 2025 Sienna is going to blow the Grand Highlander away.
Even if you find a hybrid it’s going to be sticker or even over sticker so you’re not really saving anything on fuel.
Gas GH and Pilot both have substantial discounts you would have to drive to the moon and back twice to make up for the savings that come with the gas GH and Pilot.

The 2025 Sienna Platinum or XSE... I will need to see which one better suits me... I haven't left the Sienna out of my choices. It's cheaper than the Grand Highlander, too. It's only available as a hybrid. I have been driving Toyota's since 2010, and I have never had an issue. Not 1.

A discount isn't my worry. The Sienna Platinum Hybrid is cheaper priced than the Grand Highlander Platinum Hybrid Max. That's all I was mentioning. I need to make decision soon. Either buy my lease out or get something else.
