Fuck it. I bought a new computer with a monitor and a gaming desk and now I find I have this nevyresitelny Steam problem. I've peeked at about 300 tutorials and spent at least 5 hours on it and so far I've solved absolutely nothing !!!
i went through this and it worked at first but as soon as it logged me in it just went back to doing it. my real issue is that when it launches it just stays minimized in my task bar and wont enlarge no matter what i do. do you know how to fix this? because I've just been having to go the web browser to do stuff and its slightly annoying.

My issue is, steam Webpage wont open in any browser, I've used Chrome, Firefox and Explorer. In fact it's the ony webpage I have ever tried that won't open. I keep getting this stupid message "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." It loads on my iPhone and Tablet. Techology is so damn annoying I swear.
Two things happen to me, I open steam, login, it gets stuck on loading after logging in, I close the app, it won't open back up. The other thing is I boot up my PC, I click steam, no response at all, 15 minutes later I get verifying install, I've let that run for 6 days straight, nothing happened. Also task manager has a 80% change of crashing on my pc

BUT NOW , we find out here AND ON MANY OTHER channels, that Windows 10, 11 is GIVING PROBLEMS to game players, to Steam opening up, and interfering with performance on games AND EVEN FILES. Windows 10 has been reported to cause problems for many tech programmers. SO WHY DID WERE WE NOT WARNED by the online "tech gurus" and fan sites like yours, THAT WINDOWS 10 is not great! I still have Windows 7. If i hear one more time THE BULLSHIT LIE that Windows 10 is necessary and is great, I will puke. I don't buy into Tech lies anymore. TH IS IS WHY I DID NOT BUY Starfield. Because I didn't feel like purchasing NEW TECH equipment and gamer PC upgrades...JUST TO PLAY the game. I SHOP AND GO play games from GOG GAMES which are great. Some of those old games ARE BETTER THAN the modern crap we have now, and they HAVE NO BUGS...!!
followed everything as you show; however, after the run flush... I get application not found (still...since that's what brought me here). thank you for the amazing instructions. sadly this didn't resolve my issue with Steam
i have another proble, so i downloaded stumble guys from steam and i accidently removed the stumble guys folder from stearm and i cant get stumble guys back
For some reason all I had to do was left click mouse on the windows symbol at the bottom left of the screen and move my Steam app picture into a different position and it worked?! What sort of Hoodoo is this!
im so confused. My steam window js wont open. I can hover over the window in the task bar and see the small preview screen but i cant fully open it.

i just reinstalled steam and changed the download direction to C partition and it worked for me

I had the same problem and I fixed by going into my antivirus and adding an exception to the steam folder that contains the steamwebhelper.exe

all you have to do is end all steam related applications. No clearing cache needed.
when i did this steam opened prefectly i cant even have to log in
didnt work, probably because i moved steam folder to d disk because c disk was too full, so i just reinstalled it and it worked
