Caz Campbell 😍 I miss seeing her playing the bass or the keyboards while enchanting with her beautiful vocals. Whether is with Hugh or with other artists, her talent deserves more recognition.
Aww, you've made my day! Thank you! I am writing with my great friends, DETHRAYS, They did a lockdown album (without me) as an experiment but we are now trying to do something special. Hopefully when we finish you will like! Thank you for all your support xx
@Caz Campbell yeah, I seen it on your Facebook page the other day. So stoked to see you back in the studio and thank YOU 'cause I didn't expect your reply. Have a great one lovely Caz. 🤘
Love hearing play the 'Glers oldies... His vocals are best.... Don't like Baz's take on the Hugh era songs...what a solid Thumping 3 piece this is. My Fave line up.
Shugs best Rhythm section, no margin. Caz awesome bassist and Chris Bell brilliant drummer. Super tight and punchy sound. Amazing synergy between three excellent musicians.
oddly the song a street called Carol reminds me of the jam and the musicianship of the band reminds me of the Jam with that nice doors like sound the stranglers had and all played with the musicianship that the Jam had another band The stranglers remind me of is the 1960s rock group the music machine who had a hit song called Talk Talk they later change their name to the bonniwell music machine they were a 60s garage-rock band and listening to them it's only obvious that the stranglers were influenced by that band not only that they all dressed in black with one black leather glove on read up on them
Best HC's line up, they sound so elegant but powerful enough.
Hooverdam is a favorite album of mine :)
chris your a brilliant drummer kaz great on bass what a trio

Proof that karma exists.
Golden alien covenants electric hellfire club
Its incredible when you compare paul weller's amazing solo career to whats happened to Hughs solo career, total extremes.
true, both excellent musicians and wordsmiths
@@kyivconnection One can stand alone and succeed, the other is nothing on his lonesome.
he's a surf guitar
I loved Straighten Out,really wish it was JJ on that bass on a shitty Autumn day, instead of his grand daughter...hardly the same thing is it.
The Stranglers are still going...
It's not even a poor man's tribute band.💩
