I am 56 years old "White".. and this is lately the first time that I watch the Springboks play without me thinking. Well, he`s black and that one is white. Just a team that makes me happy. I really love all them boys. It took a while but I stand by it with all my hart. Thanks Bokke.

its just a consequence of making a misread with the rush defence the boks have been using for the last 6 years or so, yea should never be such an easy score but the strategy is sound and was a major factor in their 2019 victory
@@ayo76600 SA defense is called pressing defense (with 2 outsider defenders drifting to avoid getting caught up), almost no team uses a rushing defense since 2018 bcs with a slider play you just nulify it. this whole play was just a misread by the whole team going up and tonga just running a slider with 10 and 12 14 and 2 decoys. South africa have to train more into making the ball slow enough to have the ability to drift and get numbers outside.
Rassie and Nienaber have to better these little things otherwise they're going home vs France
A big key to the defense is the full back he cant be out of position not even once

Willie Le R. and Manie L. didn't have proper communication. Le Roux was not in the right position, he could have intercepted that long pass if he and Manie had been in sync.

Fave moment of the match for me. As a Tongan, die-hard Bokke fan, i knew it was going to happen and was looking forward to watching it live on TV. If it was the Fijian or Samoan team the Boks would still have done the same with them after match. That special moment cemented my belief that the Boks will go on to win the WC. They had a bye week after that game and then the 1-point win thrillers and destiny. What a team and what a journey!

proud Tongan here! win or lose shot out to the Tonga players for playing for love of your heritage. Even though we don't have the financial backing and resources you guys still did good. Back in the days the score would of been 100 to O. With Tonga not even scoring once let alone 3 times is a victory in itself on Tier 1 nations.

It was OK, they took the chance well, but TBH it was more of a Libbok special than anything else. He does not inspire me with confidence. He makes me nervous the way Willie le Roux used to, always trying to push it and giving the ball away in dangerous circumstances.

If you are a top ranked side in the world lesser sides want your scalp. Unfortunately for SA when Japan won in 2015 it put the possibility in the second tier teams minds. When Tonga play NZ they never get close because they are psychologically beaten before they kick off
I think you spelt Ireland wrong, when mentioning the team to beat.
We got beaten by many teams. It`s what you do after that, that matters. It is a compliment when teams make a special effort to beat you. Like the Springbucks and that funny Blackalls sheep loving monkey dudes from down there where the sun is not really shinning. They all want to beat us and them. Just got to do it harder and better.

Tonga only team to score 3 tries against south africa. While Scotland didn't score Try and Ireland only scored 1 try against south africa and nz only scored 1 try against them

W. Le Roux , had a shocker !! especially in defence. He on present form , cannot be the no.1 starting fullback. D. Willemse will have to start. In general, and I have seen it all year, SA look vulnerable on the short kick off, with Marx out no line out ball going to the tail, even Mbonambi, throwing to the tail of the line out suss. Hopefully this game will also be the last experiment with Orrie starting any games going forward.

Grant Williams shows speed and I've been impressed, wing is not his position. but he showed just in that one move attack then defense why he's just off the first team. I like we took 4 scrumhalves they all offer something different but we have our clear top 2 and top 2 wings. I would've liked Mapimpi to make a comeback but I think Canaan Moodie will double up as wing like Esterheizen often used to if there's a niggle between any of the scrumcap ninjas.
