I would take the lewitt 1040. Even without power its beautiful to look at 😂 I took the small room next to the bedroom of my 2 y.o. headphones are a necessity most of the time I can be in there. I use the 700 pro x and loving them. For speakers I have the Adam t7v. Maybe gonna upgrade to a7v when he goes to school daily in a year or so.😂 In general kids grow up to fast. In this case... 😂
My desert Island gear is an acoustic guitar with 50 sets of Elixirs. Maybe one of those composite guitars, as that kind of weather would kill any ordinary guitar.
He had to say that the console was the best equipment for the studio, to justify tremendous investment, if not maybe they were going to fire him from work…😅 Awesome video
At Sweetwater again, 😊. Warren is sounding kind of like I do while I'm holding on to remaining conscious. 😂 He probably won't give it away with the sound of high pitched power saws if he completely drops off though. 😅
There is no such thing as a "desert" island. A desert is a landlocked large area of land devoid of water. An island is literally surrounded by water on all sides. The expression is "deserted" island. It's rather interesting how if an expression gets said incorrectly enough, it gets absorbed into the vernacular of the general public.
FYI The word desert has been "formerly applied more widely to any wild, uninhabited region, including forest-land", and it is this archaic meaning that appears in the phrase "desert island"
@Producelikeapro Well, "literally" has been formally declared acceptable to mean "figuratively" now too, which is the exact opposite of what the word literally means. And just because someone got the expression wrong long ago doesn't change the fact that the original expression was "deserted island". As in, no one else around. Of course it is mostly a nitpick, on my part, as I clearly took your meaning. But I'm just one of those guys, I guess... 😉😀
Thought I'd ask a smart person, a Professor and this is what they said (I also confirmed in several places) '"a desert island" is "an island which has never been inhabited, which is and has always been uninhabited", whereas "a deserted island" means "an island which once was inhabited but whose inhabitants left, whose inhabitants deserted it" @@jeremymull6138All of which makes perfect sense! They are of course, often used as if they were synonymous.
Just read Soyuz story... As I was born in "Russian union", country occupied by Russia to be more precise, aaaand seeing what they are doing in Ukraine right now, this really saddens seeing the pray for such products :(

Improving or just tweaking for the sake of it? Knowing that is the answer to your question!@@gilbertspader7974
There are so many great mics in that price range! Do you access to somewhere you can hear how they sound on your voice?@@Mister_Jahn
Just keep them coming!
I was at that concert you are wearing in Oakland, California Day on the Green. Opening band was Judas Priest, followed by Rick Derringer.

R88A wins all the time. Great mike. I like the Schoeps. U47 is out of range. I have to test the 545.
Thanks ever so much for sharing
I just got that Shure 545 last Month. Sounds great. Less hyped in the high mids 57. Great on a bright Fender Twin
Thanks ever so much for sharing

Maybe there's a provided special shelter? Hah
Ok, then a few pens and a notepad. I'd write more music than if I were in a nice cumfy shelter. Full of distractions. Ha.@@Producelikeapro

Haha I doubt that has anything to do with it! If you’re tracking live bands most days, like he does, then a consoles work flow is very useful!!
We're back! And, of course, in black!
Haha indeed
Great video!

Here's a question, who keeps those speakers so clean and dust free?
Haha assistant engineers

The problem with desert island gear is once you get there with all the beautiful machines you realize there’s actually no power.
Haha a desert island with a generator!!

I'm not even going to ask what they charge for studio time. I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway.
I believe it’s quite affordable! Especially compared with major City studios

Kind of like the word “literally “?

For me I think of the famous BBC Radio Show ‘Desert Island Discs’ which first aired in 1947
