I’ve tried almost everything out there when it comes to guitar software/amp sim. Recently I bought the Boss GX-10 for 400 euros and I’m totally blown away. It is the best performing unit in a latency test (Leo Gibson), the effects are all awesome and the amps are amazing. I mean for that amount of money - nothing compares. Happy new year 🎉
Very happy Boss GX100 user here. I've been saying that for 2 years. I have helix and QC guys all the time looking very surprised with what I'm getting out of my little budget pedal. 😅
Although it’s the most user unfriendly pedals ever made. Sent mine back. I don’t understand how a company could make such a great product, but make the user experience so freakn horrible.
@@BAND-MAID-USA I do agree with you. The software needs to be easier to use for sure, but worth it if you take the time to work around all those issues. Hopefully in 2025 they'll work on making the software easier to use.
@@jvshangout I agree, It has taken me a while to get around navigating, saving, downloading, etc etc, but eventually it clicks on your brain and becomes easier to navigate.
One of the best things about the TE-60/TE-62 and other T-style guitars from HB is that they make great modding platforms. New wiring harness, pick-ups, tuners, maybe a nut upgrade and you have a great sounding, great looking guitar, for a very reasonable price. An instrument to start off with and grow with.
Merry Christmas to you, James and all close ones! Tasty sound-focused choices as always. I managed to hi-jack a Wellsping by Teaching Machines, I think this is yet another UK-pride unit, I am 1000% sure you would like it very much!🎉
Hey Paul, I’ve watched many of your demo videos. 3 questions for you: 1. Where did you learn vibrato? 2. I’m hearing Def Leppard influences. Is that accurate? 3. Where can we hear your recording projects/sessions? Cheers Dan
Congrats on nearing 100k. I think you have some of the best tones on youtube currently. What delay pedal makes it onto your board at the moment? Im in the market for a new one and know your a bit of a delay aficionado. Cheers.
Never cared for tremelo but that strat looks absolutely delicious, I’d put a shawbucker in the bridge and make it perfect but it just looks cozy, ultra jealous.
@@TheStudioRats Gear ? like every time I hear overdrive is it that pedal or are you using amp distortion ? .. In other words what's your signal chain ?
@@TheStudioRats The pedal sounds great but it costs $900 😝 you can buy 2 drive pedals and stack them together for $600 and get the same results .. There's thousands of great drive pedals like the new Fuchs drive pedal or the Wampler stuff to name a few.. so it could be either feast or famine..Might find that drive pedal on Reverb for $300 in a couple years 😂
I think that's why King Edward started building hybrid guitars that are a blend of Fender styles with some Les Paul DNA added. All these fools who insist none of the materials or construction styles, make enough difference to bother with. Are oversimplifying things, just to be "right" all the time. I'm not an Axis fan much. But I can see why MusicMan and now EVH brands, are continuing to build these guitars. Maybe someday I'll start messing around with one of these new semi hollow versions. I've heard they're great. Peace!
There is no Harley Benton T20 there's t20 with all kinds of letters after them but no t20. Can you get the correct model number please thank you so much I watch your channel all the time

That’s very kind of you to include our Mercury in your gear list of 2024. Big-big shoutout for TWS, great amplifiers!
You bet!
What a fantastic guitar. You deserve it!!!
I'm feeling very honoured Paul. Thanks!

Thanks a lot Paul for making these wonderful vids. Happy New Year !!
No ToneX One? What an amazing product in 2024 for price and features, hard to beat in my opinion. Great gear in the video though! Happy Holidays!

Thanks! You too!
I love your reviews and videos Paul. If only I could play as well as you do 🙂. I will be seriously looking at a Valiant guitar in 2025
It's the Valiant guitar that done it for me this year..I will be modding a strat soon to get close to yours. Distressed olive too.
Without question
One of the best players I’ve heard
And yet I don’t think e realises it!!!
Enjoy the reviews!!!☺️
Thanks Patrick, there are plenty better players out there, but I appreciate it.
U tricking us? You made me watch the whole video. 😊. Your awesome player . I need practice more like you .
The last one was the Harley Benton which I think people would be surprised about as I normally like high end gear. Cheers fella

Damn what a guitar, have really enjoyed hearing that all year, would love to get one.
Headrush flex prime ...for me.
That Harley Benton T shape sounds nice and chimey
It’s great for the money
100k around the corner!
@The Studio Rats Dude, you've got chops for days !!! and the tones you're getting are phat, full of sustain and chewy goodness .. What are you using ?
Cheers, what am I using for what?

Surprised boss katana Gen 3 didn’t make the list. Oh well

It's actually a TE-62
Cheers Cliff, yes it’s a te62 it’s all in the notes.
Wow. That White Whale sounds BAAAAADDD. The rest are a good call though.
Wait, you’re saying that a $3000 guitar is great?
😺
Need less tremolo and more cowbell
What a fantastic video have a great weekend Paul also I will quit TH-cam in 2025 😊❤🇬🇧🏴🇯🇵🎸🇺🇸🇨🇦🎄🎂🌲🥰
Why?
@TheStudioRats to be honest too much drama
Once Bonamassa said the White Whale was his favorite piece of gear for this year, i knew it would be on a bunch of blues lawyers year end reviews.
I’m not a blues lawyer.
So edgy bro, good thing they can’t fool you
Not a fan of relic, sorry.
