Cool Mike, love the content! I know you do a lot of research before you choose the option you go with, it’s nice that you explain why you do it a certain way to educate the people who comment, great job!
Hey thanks! I watch a lot of TH-cam also and one thing I always find myself asking is why the person did it “xyz” way instead of another way… or they’ll say you have to do it “this” way, but fail to mention WHY thats important (or not). I try to not do that but even in editing, Im like “man, I should have mentioned this or that”
Nice videos usual. When you're done with your truck, my 56 and I could use some real help.. great job, I am 2 wires away from completely rewired my truck almost ready
88-98 Chevy trucks, what people are referring to as the “OBS” models. A viewer turned me on to them PROS: they fit dead-on perfect, are VERY comfortable, easy 4 bolt install, no latch tilt forward. Cheap and plentiful. CONS: they are a pain to reupholster. The upholstery is actually glued to the foam so when you try to remove it, it takes chunks of foam with it. So what people do is 3 things: 1- steam the covers and the glue separates. 2- rip it all off, foam and all and re-foam when you upholster it. 3-clean very thoroughly, add 1/2” foam and reupholster over the existing upholstery. Not sure which Im choosing yet, but the seat will be featured two videos from now.
I really appreciate your videos. I am going to permanently bolt my cab to the chassis using this method.
@@kennethgray3794 hope it turns out great
Big step forward getting the cab on!
