    I have to say, 'Sunday in the Park with George' even though it's not quite for me, the message and emotional twinge the story carries will be one to stick with me for a while. It's one of those works of art that keeps you thinking long after the cast takes their final bow. Love to know your perspective. 💖

    I liked the beginning but by the end I had already looked up the real history and a lot if it is made up. 😢 I wish they would have kept it accurate.

      I came across some interviews where Sondheim mentioned he deliberately steered away from realism for the musical. He felt that a more authentic portrayal wouldn't align with the essence of the show. This choice was intentional to craft a unique narrative rather than sticking to historical accuracy, especially since George Seurat was quite the enigma back in the day.
