“Seymour, the bureaucracy seized the power!”
“No mother, it’s just the socialism in one country”
“The material conditions” gets me every time
Lol
“Seymour, the Tsar has returned to power!”
“No mother it’s just comrade Stalin.”
'May I see it?'
*Secret Police appears,* 'No.'
Wanna CHEK inside???
Chalmers was never seen again and his name would evaporate from collective memory as no one dare utter it.
(Seriously, best comment here)
I love how the Tankies got really defensive about this
And the righties who for some reason love Russia and hate ukraine now.

"guys trust me we'll be super democratic" - vladimir lenin
if we give all the power to one person, then they will just choose good actions for however many centuries it takes to make the perfect state - modern genius
Down with steamed hams, all power to the workers councils
Sound like Shelbyville counterrevolutionary talk to me.
Must be one of the best "Steamed Hams" out there
It is great, but I think the gundam and Nier Automata Steamed hams are my favourites so far.
@@zafranorbian757this is more clever however.

"No, Mother, that's just Ukraine"
No mother its just the Azov.

I love this and I need a version where "democratic centralism" is replaced with "common good constitutionalism"
US history in a nutshell
please become a popular leftist shitposter account this is so good
Yeah, even as someone who is somewhat right leaning (still fairly centered, everyone has good ideas) and is pretty adamantly anti communist (Eastern European moment), this is pure gold
This is absolutely brilliant. I can't get over how Steamed Hams was turned into a great commentary on government deception.
This is fucking gold
Tankies seething

"GOOD LORD, WHAT IS YOUR ARMY DOING THERE?!?!"
"Removing the nazis from Ukraine's government"
"A- Removing the nazis in Ukraine's government?! In a government that has taken massive steps against corruption, who's head of state is Jewish, in a country you controlled for decades straight, localized entirely within areas you seek to annex?!"

"...May I see it?"
"...No."
This is great.
Absolutely fantastic!!!
And hello Reddebrek from Noah Fence of the good old days of Libcom!
Are their voices AI generated? They really sound similar to the original voice actors!
It is! XD
I'm very amazed how convincing it can be.
Text to speech is not AI!
I'm so sick of this shit.
@@roachdoggjr1940robot voice text to speech is not AI. Imitating real voices like in this video is literally done with neutral nets, so I think calling it AI is pretty legit.
@@julianweishaupt9139
AI stands for artificial intelligence.
It does not stand for voice emulation.
Do you think that HoverBoards tm can hover?
@@roachdoggjr1940 It'll depend if the voice emulation project was make by hand or by an ai. I sure hope it was by hand.

Fantastic. No notes

Lenin actually had a button that said "full communism now" but didn't press it for funsies
He was too busy pressing the oligarchy button
"Нееееет, дедушка Ленин хороший был вождь! И дедушка Сталин! Просто потом к власти пришли проклятые троцкисты-ревизионисты-социал-фашисты и обосрали всю малину! Так бы уже жили при коммунизме! Партийные чины точно-точно не стали новыми буржуями-угнетателями, занятыми в большей мере междоусобной грызней за власть, чем построением обещанной народам Российской империи утопии, практически сразу же после получения власти"

Steamed Hams but it's Zelenskyy and Putin
Google has an imcomprehensible deifnition of democratic centralism so i would appreaciate if someone could explain it to me, also how was lenins government burgeouis dictatorship? I can understand the dictatorship but burgeouis?
The best way I can describe it is: in reference to leninisit The vanguard who are the most politically literate and class conscious of an elected working class come to decisions in a unified manner to better the work class as a whole? this is how i've come to understand it.
Edit: After reading a bit more around. Effectively the vanguard vote (Who are the elected working class representative) and if something gets above half of the votes all members are expected to follow that decree they were voting on. to work in a unified manner, it's an attempt to remove bipartisanism that would hurt the people they are supposed to be representing
However i am not as well read on the subject as i'd like so this should be taken with a grain of salt. Political concepts with voting can be very esoteric
The bourgeoisie are simply the class that own the means of production, forcing the workers to sell their labor to get by. The Soviet Union had a loophole workaround for this; since the means of production were owned by the government, and the government was (supposedly) a worker's government, the working class technically owned the means of production... they were just *managed* (controlled) by a bureaucratic class of party officials who set working hours, production quotas, and dictated all other aspects of the workplace.
This little technicality is awkward since they are, by definition, not bourgeois, since there was no private ownership. However, the workers were not in control and there was a ruling class of party elites. Hence, we call the Soviet Union 'State Capitalism' instead of the mostly Laissez-Faire Capitalism (with maybe some regulations and welfare stuff) that we have in the west.
Hope that made sense, I'm happy to answer any questions if you want me to
@@pallasathena2228 that makes sense, aprreciate it
Basically politicians market themselves to the tired and exhausted common worker who wishes someone would come along and stop all daily hardships thrust upon them by government. Common workers take the bait and believe their best intrests are at heart of those in power when it isn't.
It wasntthe only country to exploit the woes of the working class. It's a timeless strategy that only benefits elites.
@@tulionline1239 and democratic centralism is the principle by which leninist vanguard partys make their decisions internally. that in itself isnt problematic but historically it has been used to substitute that internal party decision making process for the actual control of the economy by federations of democratic workers councils. and by that i mean proletarian democracy to be clear. its a leninist strawman that communists that oppose them support bourgeoise democracy, or bourgeois remnants campaigning for capitalist policies in a post revolutionary situation. communists that oppose lenin point out its a betrayal of the fundamental principles of socialism that the workers must control the economy

first of all, the soviet union did not exist in '21, thus the kronstadt sailors could not have been "the most ardent communists in the soviet union."
additionally, funny you failed to mention mention that the kronstadters were majority bolshevik, not anarchist, in '17. so were the bolsheviks indeed communist, or were the kronstadt sailors bourgeois in '17? the answer: the sailors were, like the bolsheviks to a certain point, consistently part of the vanguard (that is, the most class-conscious minority) of the class; even trotsky recognized it before the uprising.
the counterrevolution did not take root because of "totalitarian vanguard party rule." while i do believe the DOTP in russia was pretty dead by '21 and the kronstadt rebellion was thus "justified" and inevitable in response to that, the ultimate triumph of the counterrevolution was obviously due to the country's isolation (thanks to the failure of the revolutions in the west, etc etc...) and destruction by the wars.
finally, luxemburg was pretty bad as a theorist. the spartakusbund got so fucked over largely because of their (especially her) reluctance to split from the social democrats in the first place.
the SPD joke was funny, though. so 1/10.
🤓
Lost me at "bourgeois dictatorship," really? In 1920~30s Soviet Union? 🤔
That was literally the case? Party officials of the Soviet Union enjoyed a ridiculous amount of material wealth and status in comparison to, and at the expense of, the vast majority of the population. The CPSU used its position of power to enrich the topmost members of it's political cartel and establish its upper echelons as a de facto new ruling class.
Unless you are seriously arguing that the Bolsheviks weren't a glorified gaggle of traitorous kleptocratic shitwits?
Google “dictatorship of food supply”
the revolution died when lenin smashed the soviets. it showed that his slogan "all power to the soviets" was just opportunism when the bolsheviks failed to gain influence in the government after the february revolution
