So just out of interest, which of the Gods of Howard's Conan Universe (and feel free to throw in Lovecraft's as well since they were peers and throw in Game of Thrones while you're at it and Warhammer too why don't cha!) would you think is "real" or actually worship or follow and believe in? The Gods seem to be inspired by "real life" Gods as well as "real" aspects of life. Even Lovecraft's Gods seem analogous to some real deities and conceptsm, some of which are taken quite seriously today. So mitra gets involved eh- perfect. Im playing conan offline and solo and want to do the dungeons and everything, so im cheating to an extent lol. Demigod-mode. My headcannon is that mitra saw my character, an exiled practitioner of his faith, and blessed them as a soldier in his name. Any physical wound gets instantly regenerated as the blade leaves my characters flesh. Any blunt trauma would carry the momentum, knocking my exile onto the ground, but no bones would shatter. Though they would eat, they would drink, they would walk, and collect ressources just like a regular man. Its been fun, im able to still have fulfillment of progress by not spawning in everything in creative, but my health and stamina is cheated so i can actually tackle the damage sponge ass enemies in dungeons and enjoy the game. No, as the video will be about a minute plus long. Howard's early death means that many of his lore is short and thus if I do them is just for views but I have done a video on Yog Sothoth from Lovecraft's world which Howard took heavy inspiration from here: th-cam.com/video/ynhI2-6I6Sg/w-d-xo.html

These videos have helped me get others who havnt read the books into the lore of Conan. Thank you so much very helpful and informative.
Not a problem, made it for that reason when I decided to read up on the lore too ha. Thanks for watching :).

And the chronicler thanks you, for what is a history without someone to hear it.
Very grateful for your videos , love this stuff, not much out there like your TH-cam channel, it helps fill a gap. And your presentation is great.

Could it be that Robert E.Howard based Mitra's description on Christianity and ancient Greek religion, with the appearance of of Jesus and Zeus?
Yes it is widely regarded that Mitra was based mostly on the religion of Christianity in Conan's world to my research.
