    Thanks for putting this on here. I moved away from Lowestoft last year and have been looking for footage of the sea surge. I have walked along this seafront/beach for many many years and my heart felt a bit broken when I saw it had suffered so much damage in the pictures I had been seeing. It must have been a scary few days for you all still in the area!

      Hi - yes, it was a bit scary. Our house wasn't affected but a lot of residential and business premises in the town centre were flooded badly with up to 4 feet of sea-water :-(

    Very nice footage.
    The 5 december storm came in very handy when riding home from school on my bicycle. :D
    Cycling in the highest gear and still my legs couldn't keep up. (I need more gears D: )

    luckly they rebuilt everything that got damage luckly mcdonalds didnt get damaged and mum and dad couldnt take me to mcdonalds cos it got shut down for a bit

      Let's not too get over-excited about that, they were open again very shortly afterwards after the flood water had been cleared up. There were business that were shut for week and months due to the flooding, McDonalds wasn't one of them.
