My LiTime monitor shows the battery is charging at 6 watts and is flashing. But...literally nothing is hooked up to it at all. Played around with different batteries, and monitors swapping out different ones. I narrowed it down to an issue with the shunt itself. Not sure if its just junk or I can reset it or what. Odd. I notice someone else in the comments claiming theirs is doing the same.

Great vid just got mine today set up with battery fully charged.. I’m using a renogy 170amp lithium battery. I’ve set the amps at 170 what should I set the full a zero a power off to?.noticed like yours when testing appliances, it all seems to calculate it correctly but it’s now fully charged again but it’s only reading 169 amps won’t go to 170 why. Cheers mike

Settings will b dependent on your battery manufacturer spec sheet. You can usually get that on owners manual or website. So we noticed that sometimes in our case. We can see 99% for a while, then about one hour after, it would change to 100%.(They say the last few percentages take the longest( for battery charging)) You can also reset it, if battery fully charged . In our case is a agm battery so we have zero at 50% which is supposedly 12.06 so we choose 12v. For full we choose 14.9 because we noticed that the charger would sometimes peak charge at 14.5 for a few seconds and trigger the 100%. Even though that after the sun sets it would calculate actual battery voltage and set it self to correct value, if 100% was not reached that day. But it seems that usually above 12.6 - 12.9 it sets its self to 100% (our case for agm) which according to many charts is correct.(But always confirm with manual) Zero on lifepo batteries would be different. Even though many say never to run to true zero. Maybe to 5 - 15% of battery capacity( opinions). I seen lifepo charts state 100% is 14.6 and zero is 10v and 9% be 12v. Good luck . Hope this helps. Would love to see others add comments to this conversation. Good to hear other opinions or experiences.❤️👍😊

I have something wrong on my li-time monitor and battery. Voltage used is showing as a positive value. And my amp hours rise without a charger or solar hooked up. What did I do wrong?

Hi, I have a battery with 2 separate anderson plugs, blue for charging and grey for power. Would I need to connect both negative terminals to this shunt? thank you

Can you send model number and brand. Not familiar with this particular one. Maybe with info can refresh memory. Any opinions are welcomed ( who has worked with this particular type of battery)

Good info but terrible voice dubbing. You need to put back the spaces between your audio clips.
