Super Punch-Out!! was released for the SNES in the United States on February 28, 1994. As a new contender, you slug your way through the grueling and sweat-pounding matches of the Minor, Major, and World Circuits. Dodge bone-bruising punches and dance to the top of the supreme Special Circuit. Face off against old favorites including Bald Bull, Mr. Sandman, and Super Macho Man, plus a cast of new and weird challengers. Pound your opponent's face into the mat and win the title of Nintendo's Video Boxing Association Heavyweight Champion! Source: speeddemosarchive.com/SuperPun...
At this past Awesome Games Done Quick, $1,025,000 was raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. It only took a week of continuous streaming, 18,000 donors, and many many runners to achieve. A big thanks to everyone responsible for these amazing numbers, what a humbling achievement. For comparison, last year's event raised just under $500,000.

It seems a bit obvious to say since events like this would be where they all congregate, but after watching these marathons for a few years, I love being able to look through the audience and point out the faces of several other runners and speedrun community members as well. It gives the marathons an atmosphere that feels like much more than just "a crowd", but rather the community that they're all proud to say they're members of.

The humility of saying for the last 20 minutes of the run that "this next fight might kill the run". People, you mean one person. MTPO is indeed a bit harder, but not by as much as the person that was being trolley said. Speed running any game blind folded and completing it is a feat in itself. I do not know off any game that is still easy if you are playing it with a blindfold.
