How happy your son looks helping in the kitchen and how good it is for him. Your videos are always so rich in ideas and inspiration. I love that you are often talking about healing for yourself and others. Cooking can be truly magical.
It's my favourite time of year - when it gets grey and cold outside, the inside of the house gets infinitely cozier with candles and all the colorful berries and leafs
This was so cosy to watch! I am already so in the winter mood ✨🤍❄️ Also my favourite drink for this flu season is 1/2 fresh lemon juice, 1/2 warm water and a big spoon of honey 🍯
It is so nice how your little son is baking and helping!! This is the way to create memories....someday the little boy will remind this like you told about your memories of your grandma. This is so nice . It makes my heart warm:)
I think that anyone who has prepared a meal when they were angry can attest to the fact that your emotions are transferred into your food. Your reminder to focus on your intentions while cooking hits home for me. Thank you for sharing!
I just got back from my 1st anniversary with my husband and a vacation with our nephew we’re raising, putting his mom to rest over a year later and on her birthday no less. She would have been 40. Samhain where the veil is thin… it was nice to welcome her at our wedding last Oct 30th and do a memorial on the 27th. However the day after we landed back in Nebraska I got sick! 😔 Traveling can be very stressful and with the shifting weather it’s no surprise I caught a bug. I fancy myself a kitchen witch but when the mom is sick ha well I just directed my husband to help me simple as possible. He got some organic chicken noodle soup and some bread from the store… he’s been making me herbal apple cinnamon honey tea, esp for my throat. I enjoyed watching this today as I think my fever broke 🥰 I’m so excited for thanksgiving and Yule/Christmas bc we just moved into our new house so we get to build all these new traditions together. My birthday is also on Christmas and it’s wild I’m turning 30 ha. Thank you for your videos 🥹
Everyone who is anyone seems to be making fire cider this year, guess I'll have to try it! "Something to prevent; something to soothe; something to cure" is such a great piece of wisdom for stocking our kitchens and medicine chests in time for winter. Just watching this makes me feel cosier and more ready for winter (I've not given up on Samhain vibes yet).
My favorite part, among so many in this video, is of your son scraping the yummy cream off of his sleeve. Made me laugh, and I needed to laugh. I so enjoyed watching him help in the kitchen, and the freedom you allow him (of course with your close supervision) is delightful to watch. Your videos have such a calming vibe, your beautiful aesthetics, and soothing voice make for a lovely experience that reaches all the way to warm coastal Louisiana, giving me a cozy autumnal day. You must be exhausted, but your content is so calming. I hope you are able to get some well-deserved rest.
This was a lovely way to start my Sunday morning. Can’t wait to see these recipes, I wanna do them all. There is nothing cozier on a crisp day then being in a warm kitchen!
I love how you said about thinking and being mindful. I'm a coffee witch in a way. I'm always thinking of new ways. Today while making coffee, as I stirred in some pumpkin spice into the coffee before brewing, I just thought about it and got lost in the mixing. Once I had the coffee all done, it tasted more special than ever. My partner noticed it too. So I can relate to what you said.
I'm so excited about this show. Cause Ive have been a kitchen witch since 1993. And finally get to watch someone that is so much more experienced than me. Thank u
As a new mom too, I am amazed you can get so much done with a little one around! I feel like I only get stuff done when my little 7 month old naps - and she doesn't nap for long. Share your secrets please! :) As always, love all your videos. They always make my day.
I feel you! My 'secrets' are: 1. Wear baby in a sling or carrier 2. Don't stress about mess 3. Work at night and don't sleep Otherwise I wouldn't get anything done either 😅 sending much love to you and little one
New mom here too! I ruined three meals last week because I was stressed and rushing around. I have a bad back so wearing my baby isn’t an option. I can’t wait till she can stand in a learning tower so she can be right next to me.
@@cassietheconqueror oh I am so sorry!! If baby wearing isn't an option it makes things suuuuper difficult. I put mine in her highchair sometimes when I cook and give her some curcumber to suck on - keeps her entertained at least for until I am done cooking
When its grey outside I love to watch the sunrises on the way to work and then the sunsets while waiting for supper to be ready. I take it as a reminder to appreciate every day no matter what happens 😊Omg -- he is such a pro in the kitchen now😄 this was awesome to watch . Thank you for sharing
I just love/appreciate you so much! Your voice is so soothing and makes me feel that if I could hear from one of my ancestral grandmothers, her voice/advice would just like this. Brightest blessings to you, Mentor!
Oh I loved this! As I sit & watch the snow fall outside, it's looking like a Christmas card. Having my Elderberry tea before heading outside. I'll do anything for strudel lol. The wee ones are growing up so fast. Thank you so much for sharing ! 💜🌹
What a nice way to spend a few minutes this morning. I laughed out loud when your son ate the butter. My family like to tell a story of me as a toddler “disappearing” at a restaurant. Suddenly, I wasn’t at my seat and they looked under the table and I had sneaked under the table with one of those wrapped pats of butter. 😂 (also, check your email 😊)
Thank you for this cozy video. It's like having a blanket over you to keep warm. Am impressed with your little kitchen assistant. I am new to using intentions in food/drink.
Literally watching this while making apple, pear and quince jam - all seasonal fruits, gathered by my husband. Not a traditional recipe, just had to utilise the harvest 😆 So your recipes are coming just in time! Thank you!
I am watching you and your son make this apple tart/crisp and my heart is lifted and full of Joy. Thank you for sharing. I am learning as I go. I garden and I harvest. I am just starting to keep a journal 🙃 ✨️.
Not to be dramatic but I love Bex! I always learn so much from you. I recently learned to make 4 Theives Vinegar, I take a tablespoon of it if I feel a cold coming and it always works wonders! Of course I also use the Vinegar for witchy purposes and it's amazing.
Impressed with you ALWAYS! But today really impressed with your little man there! He is really efficient and grown into the perfect kitchen witch's apprentice. How cute!! I always involved kids in the kitchen. Bex, this beautiful video had all the cozy vibes that I will be rewatching for sure. You are a beautiful kitchen witch! Thank you

What a great little souse chef you have there. 😊 Such a good helper in the kitchen! My son (now 30) used to eat chunks of butter, so much so I had to buy extra just so there was enough for the rest of us! Like a little butter mouse, nibbles in every block, he’d do the same with cheese too.

I have been stocking up on arts/crafts supplies , because in Winter it's too cold , icy slick to do much.
