Today I would like to show you what I eat in a day as a kitchen witch and how to infuse your food and everyday routine with simple spells to make your life more magical. How I eat does change with the seasons so this is definitely a cozy autumn day edition of 'what I eat in a day'. When the rainy and grey November days roll around I love to make my home a cozy space, snuggle up on the couch with my favorite cookbooks and fill my house with the enchanting scents of homecooked meals. There is nothing cozier!
Witchcraft doesn't have to be complicated - the most profound and impactful magick often lies in mundane tasks and rituals. So I also included some simple daily spells for outside the kitchen too.

X root veggies (parsnip, sweet potato, beetroot, carrots, etc.)

Bavarian Bread dumplings (servietten Knödel)

X 1/2 onion
X 2 eggs
X 200ml milk
X salt & pepper & nutmeg
Creamy mushroom sauce
X 1 onion
X 3 cloves of garlic
X 300g fresh forest mushrooms
X 200ml cream
X 200ml water
X 1Tbsp powdered veggie broth
X some flour to bind the sauce
X sprinkle with fresh parsley
Pork Tenderloin in Honey and bacon
X 600g pork tenderloin

One of the things I've started doing to have a better daily routine was stop blaming myself for consuming internet content. I never really over did it, but I still blamed myself for "wasting that time". To fix this I started being more selective with what I watch. Now, there's no way I can say these past 11 minutes were wasted. On the contrary. I always gain so much watching you. Inner peace, knowledge, a sense of not being alone in the world. It's really beautiful the energy I'm feeling. I really appreciate you and I really appreciate myself for making that change. Thanks so much 🥰

I had dinner at a restaurant with some good friends. I went with tea and salad. Then came home and talked with a dear friend while drinking a beer. Tomorrow is lunch with family that is sure to include a spell or two. We are so lucky for all we have.

I also have not spoken to my best friend in 2 months🥺 but she's mad at me. Again. I think this might be it for us. Cherish your friendship because ours was 21 years and its gone. It wasn't even a fight it just... went. It's so important and neither of us have other close friends, as it gets harder to make the outside school. Your oracle is very wise! We can get so busy. I'm going to try to incorporate more local and seasonal products! I rescued some pomegranate that were on their last leg the other day and wanted to focus more on wasting less food. I also rescued some greens that were starting to wilt that I worried may be thrown out! It's hard for me to get to the farmers market with my work schedule and my family but your video has really inspired me to channel that kitchen witch in me that I've always wanted to be but could never prioritize so thank you💜🍃
You tea sounds similar to my Chai Tea, Vanilla Bean Paste, a little honey and cream. In the fall, I sometimes add a little Pumpkin Spice. Delicious! I love your cloak!!!!

I also hate it when people throw food away and don't use everything up... I really feel super heardbroken when I see it! My grandparents and parents always told me that throwing food is a sin and I think it's actually a good way of thinking regarding to the environmental problems face...
Saaaame - that is exactly what I have learned and I still go by that. I will also lick all spoons and bowls and rinse cans hahah 😅

I love the way you speak about self-care here especially at the end of the day and fitting in those small practices for ourselves. I have often found that I get overwhelmed by everything there is to do, learn, create and experience, with all aspects of life - when it comes to cleaning, working, creating and editing videos, developing my craft, practicing magic, spending time with my kids, journalling, baking, plus all the rest of the admin, school runs, jobs and appointments; and I just burn myself out. I have honestly had to just be sure I take time to meditate and intentionally breathe everyday, even if something else has to give. And reminding myself that my health and the health and happiness of my family is the most important thing. Such a cosy lovely vlog 💕😊

I'm so glad to have caught this one! I tease my one daughter that she's a natural green witch but maybe not so natural kitchen witch. I often get the biggest eye roll from her for that but most often when I'm cooking. Everything looked wonderful

This was so cozy! I find myself wanting comfort foods at this time of year, including root vegetables. Unfortunately for me I have two picky eaters in my household, but you’ve inspired me to branch out a bit with my lunches to incorporate them there. ❤️ And the toddler cooking sequence was so adorable!

Your child is so kind! I love when my little one makes me little dishes too. His cafe’s ‘signature dish’ takes 500 years to cook though 😂. When he makes this dish, he spends a good chunk of time prepping it before it pops in the oven but I’ll be dead before it’s done. A recent development after MONTHS of making this dish repeatedly without ever being able to ‘taste’ it, he confessed that adding vinegar reduces the cook time to a mere 20 minutes 😂.
Ahahah this made me laugh so hard!! Well, at least your kid is then playing nicely by themselves for an extended period of time 😄 always a win haha

Oh, I do miss my Play Dough diet 😂 but, the good news is that the meals get yummier as they age (and include actual food haha). I do love the idea of taking morning tea outside and your oracle deck is so adorable!

Question for the city witches, I would love to start a compost bin, but I live in an apartment complex and we don’t have a space for it. I hate wasting so much food, or even the inedible bits like watermelon rind. Any tips or suggestions?
Is trash separated where you are? When I lived in the city I had a small compost bin (about the size of a cereal box) and we had downstairs a separate trash bin for it. As for veggie peels or all the 'throw-away' bits of for example Brokkoli: I always put them in a box in the freezer and when it is full, I make veggies stock with it ☺️
