I mean they have really amazing vocalists in both male and female; it would me great if someone do a video recognizing both; I miss seeing Ailee, Luna, Taeyeon, Hyolyn, Eunji and so on for the girls and Kyuhyun, Sandeul, Ryeowook, Jonghyun, Eunkwang, Woohyun, Jo Kwon and so on for the boys

Seungyoon should be in Tier 4 or even 3 since he's baritone. Baritone has much more weight, so supporting B4 is hella good

Now this was a very very surface level ranking. I didn't rank them against each other nor did I give their placements in their exact tiers because that's just too much work and I'm not that knowledgeable to give that precise of a ranking but either way I hope this helped to give you at least some understanding of where they stand.

0:20 those were Eb5s not B4s @2:19 there's some phrased F5 there too @5:38 those F#5s are tight and not supported , low key was side-eyeing some of those Ryeo clips @11:50 that one D5 was supported

Mayyybe. The thing is Gen 4 is still lacking a true standout so I’m not sure what kind of concept would suit the most. Perhaps a battle one, maybe but we’ll shall see~

@@gabrieleferreira8759 according to my fr's analysis he seems to support around D3/Eb3 ~ F#4/G4 but tends to place his voice nasally hence still has yet to achieve proper resonance, which is fit for a Standard to Capable rating~

1. Jamie is probably below Competent right now due to her issues with consistency around C#5, noticeable increase in nasality, lack of consistent resonance and openness currently. Her HV is also more stylistic these days. I’m not sure where she is exactly but Raina, Baek, Solar and Wheein are better in mix right now. I would say she is either above average/capable or above average/capable to competent depending on if her other registers are still at a high level.
Uji is still better than Ali due to her exceptional lower range and improved openness in her mix over the years.
For the vocalists ranking order:
1. Narsha
Unknown. Bohyung would’ve been a safe no.2 but I’ve heard increasingly tight and tense belts from her. I’m not so sure so I won’t comment on her ranking.
2. Solji
3. Minkyung (she used to be higher than Solji but I’d argue Solji is better rn because her C#5s and mid belting is more solid than before and she has the better chest voice. Minkyung uses a falsetto voice a lot so her HV isn’t that much of a plus due to consistency issues.
4. Sunye
5. Haena? Not sure but she’s somewhere in capable
6. Dana? I’m not sure but she’s also capable
7. Seunghee
8. Jea (I’d actually put her in average/standard to above average/capable. Her A3/Bb3 - B4/C5 doesn’t make the capable tier for myself.
I’m not sure about Park Kitoung but she does not support that low at all. Her lower range is often pure air and her mix is riddled with large amounts of tension from the tongue. So is her head voice. She’s a very low competent (under Bada) at the very best but I doubt it.
@@SoulVelvet yess Park Kiyoung strained D5 quite a lot, her headvoice is better than Bada though
I agree with most of @Lab's comment. One thing I'd change is that Haena isn't developed enough for a Capable rating, yet, or at best only a fringe Capable rating. Her mix is getting there with C#5 but her low is quite average. Resonance consistency can be an issue for her although it's getting slightly better in recent occasions. I'll put her ~ or lower toJeA.
I wouldn't say Eunji has surpassed Taeyeon. Her head voice still needs a lot of work to be considered a consistent asset.
Luna is still better than Taeyeon yes.
1. I would say she's around low Competent or Capable to Competent.
2. Taeyeon is still better, her headvoice is still better, Eunji's headvoice carried support only up to Eb5 from what I've heard. Taeyeon has better Eb5s also, better agility, the difference in lows isn't that significant.
3. Luna is better than Taeyeon tho even before her inconsistencies.
4. Dia has better mixed and upper register so she's first, Uji is better than Ali because of her well developed lows, Ali is last in the 3.
5. Narsha>Bohyung(inconsistency, she's first before I would say)>Solji/Minkyung>Sunye>Dana>Jea>Haena(I'm not that familiar to her)
6. Park Kiyoung supported range is likely A3-C#5/D5-Bb5/B5 (or maybe G#3 in lows) I will put her in Capable to Competent tier.

@@ReggieVu Talking about Chen, I have a question. Despite being definitely the best vocalist of EXO, is it true that he is the least agile vocalist among the main vocalists? Pretty sure that Kyungsoo is much more agile but idk about Baehkyun.
Yes Chen isn’t as agile as his EXO’s main vocal counterparts while Baekhyun is semi-agile

it seems exo main vocalists are weak in this area. i was expecting at least one member of them. i mean they are one of the best vocal line among kpop groups along with suju and shinee. 2 members of suju and shinee are here but i don't see any exo vocalists.
and Kyuhyun from Suju is so damn good. Imagine having the best mixed register and one of the best lower registers in male idols at the same time, which is already insane. And is he also one of the best head voices in K-pop? damn he's very a talented vocalist. I heard he left the SM company. Damn, SM lost a vocal gem.
@@aidencastro9576he left SM for solo activities. For Suju (+ the sub-units) activities, all the members renewed their contract with SME.
