The great thing about the soundtrack by Vince DiCola is the fact he wrote it all with out seeing the movie in action like most composers do. He was told the scene set up and some story boards and went from there. Still one of my all time favorite soundtracks for a movie.
Vince also recycled a lot of his music from Rocky 4 and tweaked some things to make it a tad different sounding and yet familiar. it was pretty effortless for him.
