GDP - China is all economists talk about cuz we enable the disconnected rich generation after generation and conveniently don't count the damage being done as evidenced by the state of China. (you could say the same for America, UK a lot of places too cuz we enable rich f'ery)
Every time we step toward being better, we allow greed to increase the damage we do as a species. We can't even be arsed to stop destroying huge swaths of the earth cuz money.
We always fake changing for the better just to do 100 times worse. We only count doing better as what's good for humans. We have very little consideration for other creatures or our environment. (for every improvement the rich just find some other place to destroy)

It’s CNY not LNY. Lunar Calendar is used in Islamic countries NOT China. The Chinese Calendar is a lunisolar calendar mixed with Chinese traditions and calculated by Chinese people from the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, NOT just following the monthly cycles of the Moon or annually cycles of the Sun. So it’s wrong to call it Lunar New Year. Also, the Lunar New Year is celebrated by Islamic countries and it sometimes starts in summer time. You will need to show some respect to Islamic people who hold their Lunar New Year traditions for centuries
