      Have never heard of Magic Lantern 🤔
      BUT I can appreciate your opinion on the T5i. My first camera was a Canon T1i, got stolen, had a T6 and g7 mark ii (sold them) but I want another camera for travel photography (not so much cinema).
      I could get a brand new expensive one, but honestly I like older things, especially if I know they'll still work and last a while.
      Aside from the T5i do you have any other recommendations?

    • @mediaflmcreation
      @mediaflmcreation 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zerospecs2331 Canon 5D Mark III or IV depending on what you shoot. I have a Sony a6000 and me and a photography buddy I was doing a teaching session on had his Mark IV and our pictures look nothing different (me at 24mp and him at 30mp) ... I personally want the Mark IV because for what I shoot, the more the better as I do fashion and REAL print work for clients.
      For you, you have such a wide option like the IV, III. I say for you, get the Mark IV. Mind as well. I don't care about all the 4K nonsense people believe because 1080p looks the same and you can refactor 1080 to look like 4K these days. Only technical people play into the 4K game. The Mark IV will be your greatest greater good IMHO.

    • @zerospecs2331
      @zerospecs2331 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mediaflmcreation
      I want to shoot people, buildings, structures, street photography...not so much landscapes or animals. Maybe some video but it's not a priority. My focus is really the photographry.
      Also, in the event the Mark IV isn't obtainable, what would be another option that's more affordable? I was looking at a 5D Mark 2.

    Thanks for the info on the Ti5. I've been shooting with a Cannon PowerShot SX50HS for over 9 years which has been a work horse of a camera for me (non DSLR). I just recently picked up a Ti5 with several lenses for a good price, adding to my inventory of cameras (which include GoPro 5 & 9, and DJI M2 drone). Only one year newer than my PowerShot, but it offers up some added versatility... like with lenses and external mic input. It's also an upgrade from 12.1 to 18 mpx photo res.

    I'm learning buy lights not cameras. Your phones pro mode, and general understanding gets you good enough now. The lights make it pro. Key light, back light is all you need to turn something blown out to something crystal clear. When you do get a camera the lens mm (25-75mm sweet spot) is the next important thing(close, wide, far). Other than that color grading and editing will get you there. Stabilization in software isn't bad zoom in digitally a little before stabilizing. Other than that if you're vlogging choose times to shoot. If you notice most vlogs start in the morning, have short mid days, and finish with dinner and evening stuff. The bulk of time is the morning/evening routine. (Wakes up, gets coffee, goes to gym, explains they got to go/do something later 2-3 minutes (7-9am stuff), mid day is like 1 minute lunch, check on projects, inside studio, whatever the story is. Ends with going to dinner, or a show, or a premiere.(clips tend to be 20-30 seconds, Video sometimes ends the next day back in the studio (think neistat) its pretty much merging your whole day in a bunch of 30-60 second story's. And as you become pro instead of taking 6hrs to film a day, you can probably knock out a 10 minute video in 30 minutes with b roll. Then editing is probably pretty standard by then.

I've been told it's an okay lens if you're just learning digital photography and so far (I've just moved off auto shoot to manual) It's given me some good shots, but after about 200mm things get a lot of noise. overall I'm happy with it till i save up more money for a better lens.

And If you're broke there's adapters that screw onto the end of your kit lens that will widen the view I I showed one in a video I did about the 18255 Kipling so you can check that out and see the effect you don't lose too much quality but it definitely why is the view closer to a 10 mm lens which is nice

    Now I found an offer (on fb marketplace). It contains the Canon T5i, 3 lenses (18-135mm),(75-300mm) & (18-55mm), a tripod and carry cases for 700$.
    Should I get it? I am really into capturing nature (I am actually always using the zoom function on my camcorder because it has a fish-eye, lol) or would you recommend a different camera (for example the Canon G7X Mk2)?

    Are you able to get nice slow motion shots on the t5i?

    • @lightsabersamurai1040
      @lightsabersamurai1040  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It sadly can only do 60fps at 720p. Watching youtube vids on your phone is still looks okay but as far as brand or paid work I would consider it to low res.I have a video where I review the Zgrip and I shoot a B roll sequence in that so you can take a look at that video for reference for higher res slow mo the m50 or sl2 are great and only a bit more

      I use filmora it has everything that I need to make videos and the premium version was a one-time cost of about $40 which is actually pretty cheap other editors like Premiere Pro for instance is subscription-based so you have to keep paying a certain amount every month but I don't have to worry about that with filmora

    so which one did you recommend me! am about to get this one but changed ma mind when i saw the picture quality different with t6i even the audio! so should i get t5i or t6i or none of them and inform which one should need to get

    • @lightsabersamurai1040
      @lightsabersamurai1040  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say go for the 6 as they are near the same price now but do know that the audio quality with the T5i isn't necessary I just forgot to adjust the audio to match when I switch cameras it's a simple as just turning it up in the menu system also note that on the t6i I was using the Canon 24 mil 2.8 which is much Krispie or than the standard kit lens I used when I switch to the T5i you can't go wrong with either though

      T5i for music videos ? Oh hell nawl . I just bought a Sony fx30 for music videos and I upgraded from an a6500 which is a 4k camera and that’s outdated to me . I wouldn’t dream of touching a t5i for music videos.

      Sandisk is my brand of choice for cards. Now depending on the camera and if you're shooting in HD or 4k you may wanna get the more expensive versions for faster write speeds and things like that but for a camera like the t5i the standard 64gb works great
