Hello from the UK! I've just come across your channel and I've been enjoying the style of your videos. For hard water deposits I find "Viakal" brand limescale remover very effective. Not sure if it's available where you are, but I use the version that you pour from the bottle rather than the spray. You can apply it with an old paint brush, leave it for a few minutes then agitate it with the brush and rinse it away. It seems to do the trick with very little effort.
Interesting - I have not heard of this product - nor have I ever heard it mentioned. I did look, and I can get it ( the no-spray type is marketed as "Toilet Gel" ). I ordered a bottle and will give it a try on some other hard water deposits I have-I'm very interested to see if this stuff is the magic bullet! Thank you for the tip, and thanks for watching!
@@mainejason Ah that's interesting; I didn't know there was a toilet gel too. It seems to be a different product to the one I use. I think the toilet gel might primarily be a toilet cleaner but with added limescale remover, so if the toilet gel contains other detergents it might not be as concentrated as the dedicated limescale remover. I'd be interested to hear how it performs! By the way, I think it helps to make sure surfaces are dry before applying the product so there’s no water to dilute it.
