Doug I remember when you were a bushcrafter that took up whittling. Then you grew to become a really good wood carver and exceptional instructor and mentor, but my friend your abilities are such that now you are a true artist and a master at your craft. Thanks for sharing another amazing project.

Hi Doug, I'm new to your channel, found you by accident as wasn't looking to start whittling, one of your videos just popped up randomly on my feed, the power of TH-cam ay! Your carvings are amazing, each one seems to have its own personality, I love them! After watching a few of your videos I've decided to buy myself a knife and have a go!! An unexpected new hobbie, hopefully I won't cut my fingers off and everyone will get a little wooden creature for Christmas (whether they want one or not 😂).
Anyways good luck with your channel and thanks for sharing your work with us, 👊 you have truly inspired me thankyou

Enjoy all your carvings! Also enjoy your bush-craft trips as well! I'm a newbie carver. I carved along with you on "The most fantastically simple carving ever and I did pretty good. I tried carving along with the Scarecrow and broke the brim of the hat. Not just once, but twice. Guess I use too much force. Your knife seems to just flow through the wood. I'll keep trying for sure. Thanks for your videos, you do a great job! Dan
