Great video and good information. We have used it many times to make smaller wood for the fire. I had never thought about the in ground steaks. That is smart. I agree. I would not shave with it. lol. Thanks for the share.
I think I'll pass on the shaving my legs with a hatchet😂, but otherwise all good ideas. I like the older hatchets also, since they hone easily & you can get them nicely sharp without pitting the blade

I love using my hatchet and great video! That kindling makes a world of difference and I always use the back end for whacking in my tent stakes. However, I am confused by the title... am I missing some sort of camping slang knowledge?
