Very helpful! I found an old one and I thought the charger compartment was actually where the battery went! Also I unscrewed the lid and I can't figure out how to get it back on

Atsko sprayed a cordura hunting bag, great coverage and water resistance. The test, to be fair, should have used the same type hat/material. Hats vary in thickness, composition, seams, etc. Atsko worked well on tent seam also.

Can't hear with traffic noise.

My takeaway with people with cars, get the lightest trailer. if you want any actual towing capacity left to load it up and stay below manufacturers specifications.

Just got a 2017 rPod 180, have spent two weeks in it so far. It's just right sized for my wife and I, and the full bath was my biggest buying point. Everything is designed to maximize storage and space utilization. Tows pretty well unless the commercial truck ruts catch it and toss it around. It's our third rig, and I think this one is gonna be a keeper.

the biggest problem is covering an rv with a tarp. even if it is big enough to cover the entire camper, a tarp doesn't allow breathability. it will trap moisture under it and cause mold and shorten the life of the rubber roof, seal tape etc. causing roof leaks, moisture buildup in walls.etc.

Aren't BOTH of those "Camp Dry" products from the company Kiwi ?? You never said, and we of course couldn't see the labels from that far off. ... and if you were going to do this video, why leave out the other prime competer, 3M Outdoor Scotchguard ? 😱

Is it possible to use this tent without a hatch?

Awesome video and saving when I need to replace the battery. New subscriber! I'm hoping you can help me, I have the same lantern and when I plug in the charger the red light lights comes on and goes out when I remove my hands. It seems to catch-light up but it seems to move where it catches when wiggling it. I got it to stay near the entry but not all the way in. I also tried to move the side prong inside of charging hole so it would catch but that didn't work. Have any suggestions? I had it plugged for 6 hours with the red light on but won't turn on. Anyway to determine if battery..red light on or the bulbs? Might not be worth it to change both...? Do you have any information on the bulbs to replace them?

I use Atsko on everything. Car interiors/exteriors, porch furniture, sneakers, coats, TV/UTV. I mean anything and everything other than metals or wood. Love this stuff!

I have the Coleman lamp that has the night light too. Would this battery work also?

When we do a storyboard for our show, we usually share our individual notes, then mix them up into a program. I just found a relaxing way to write my portions, using our small SUV, and enjoy the solitude that it takes to think. You did an outstanding job here, presenting this add-on camping tent to this SUV. I'm going to show this video to my partner, and see if he will find it to be the perfect relaxer for script composing just like I will.

I bought mine at Costco with a Coleman carry bag and griddle combo 15 years ago. Best camp stove I ever bought. Still works this day.

Grease on trailer hitch balls is for nerds....lol... Wear on a ball could probably not even be measured with 1000s of an inch measurement of surface loss on a hitch not greased..lol prove me wrong..

Always take citrus oil get roamatherapy oil mix it with some oil and put on clothes or skin use lavender they hate the smell. Also take flu spray and deet. Just before you get in spray tent inside fully zip it up leave 5 minutes should see um on floor ha ha

I watched a lot of different videos about waterproofing spray today. Yours was the best. Mostly because you use three different kinds and you actually tested them with water afterwards. I'm buying that Atsko spray. Thanks.

In case you're still reading comments, a couple of thoughts... * You'd lose less heat if you were using clean bricks that have flat surfaces to mate better. I've built mine high for the same reason, but all the heat comes up the "chimney". * Raising the level of the fire is an option, but not necessary. Of course then you have less bending to feed the fire as much as for cooking ;-) * A 'fringe benefit' of brick rocket stoves is the thermal inertia of the bricks, which in a serious SHTF situation can be brought inside as a way to warm your home. Once the bricks in the unit warm up, more heat will arrive at the cooking level. You just need to start your fire earlier if there are more bricks adding to the chimney height. * Having more space below the fire grate/mesh is something I was already considering, as the ash fills the lower chamber very fast and has to be cleaned out every 10 minutes to keep the air intake working well. A deeper chamber of 2 bricks should solve this problem, while increasing the air intake even further. * If we create an air intake (and ash area) 2 bricks deep, then we'll need a couple of extra bricks that can be slid across the air intake area as a 'damper' or the fire will burn too hot and fast.

I have a 2002 Ford E350 Diesel Box Truck with a 12' Box. Where is the front and rear lifting points if you needed to lift your Truck to change your Tire? Where would you place the Jack to lift?

Thank you for this tour. Im UN process of getting g a 2016.. R pod 180 . loving this unit . The slide out being the kitchen.i will be putting supporting outriggers underneath the slide . i was also told that in the 179 the floors by kitchen gets soft .
