Very good review, the only thing I can say is that the MK4 with input shaper now implemented is completely different from the MK3. The core x,y comes into play with the larger size build. I am still sticking with Prusa and investing in the XL for the larger prints. I have to say, the enclosure on the Bambu is a big deal though.
I don't even have a3d printer yet, but I'm seeing all kinds of practical and fun ideas to encourage me to get a printer. I think I'm getting a bambu labs X1C with AMS. I like the XL 5 tool changer, but sounds like it'll take forever to get one, plus they're $$$$. Great video!
Everything you print is being sent to their cloud if you're using it wirelessly and by agreeing to their terms of service you allow them to collect the data. I know that it may seem overprotective, but if you're concerned about your privacy, the best solution is to print from an SD card in offline mode.
No, the recent update quieted down the stepper motors. And so it's mainly the chamber fan, which is much quieter at 70% (I run a quieter duct fan to exhaust the air). I sit next to it and it's not much of an issue. I might wear headphones sometimes.
In my opinion there is not really any competition for the 5 toolhead XL, I dont understand why anyone would buy the single toolhead version, there are better price for performance machines out there, even though probably not as reliable as a fully polished machine (which the xl is currently not).

How's it going?

You can enable LAN-only mode and still send it over your network. The phone app won't work, though.
Isn't the Bamboo loud af? Like you can put it in your basement and still hear it upstairs loud?

Agreed! And you really have to need the specific advantages of a tool changer over a multi material system to justify it too.
