A fantastic doo-wop version of this great song, never heard this before! It's wonderful to hear that Johnny Maestro was such a good friend. It was a surprise to hear this being sung by a street performer in Cardiff a few years ago - they were very good!

A nice cover of the Charlie Gracie classic from this 1960 Coed LP, "The Crests Sing All Biggies," which featured them singing big hits by others along with their own "Sixteen Candles" and "The Angels Listen In." Great post, Ron, along with Mrs. Mint's always marvelous notes.
