Layers 1-3 are all so sick (in my personal opinion) with 2 being the coolest layer maybe in the game to me. 4 is fine, no complaints, but it's not at the same level for me as the first 3 layers
I already see people complaining about the chase music and I honestly don’t understand why this time. It’s chase/proximity theme, it’s not going to be your primary focus in a match, it’s background music basically. It’s there to help with the idea/theme of the killer and the atmosphere during a match and it’s there too be a way of telling where the killers at and where they are going just by sound alone. It doesn’t even sound bad either especially for it being attached to the killer, the map setting, the killers story and the theme of it all together which is an analogue horror and unknown uncanny valley horror set in an old building during the 70s, 80s and 90s. For Layer 1 it sounds like a bunch of different types of groaning and metallic elements and sounds to get the feeling not being alone while you just walked into an old, dark, dirty, abandoned building like an industrial complex, a factory, a military testing facility, or a mining facility like what ‘Slender The Arrival’ had. Layer 2 is repetitive but not even repetitive in the sense of a repeating sound that sounds THE EXACT SAME every time with no other sound. It’s repetitive in the way that same sound is lengthened and shortened with slight pitch changes to give off a feeling of something wrong or broken or glitched, like something being dragged or ground across a surface, a damaged machine or record player stuck in a loop but not repeating the exact same sound like it’s distorted or being made to change pitch by something. Layer 2 gives off that sense of you having seen something move in the corner of your eye at the back of a corridor, through a window, across the hall, by a doorway. Or you heard something skitter, crackling of debris, creaking of doors, breaking of items off in the distance either in another room or building while already feeling like you’re not alone. Layer 3 is like you saw something or heard something that definitively tells/shows you that you’re not alone and now you KNOW something’s with you, even possibly following/tracking you so you’re trying not to let it hear or see you. Layer 4 is kinda underwhelming and needs something more to make it more urgent or something so that it can get a better feeling of being chased by something that is horrific and uncanny and unnatural, the feeling of you having been found by what you’ve been seeing and hearing even when you tried to avoid it seeing you and hearing you, yet it still manages to hear or see you and you know it wants to kill you (especially since it wields a fire axe but also it probably has fresh or dried blood on itself or possibly has some other indication that it’s dangerous, like blood in the environment, a body, seeing it following/tracking/stalking you) now it’s chasing you and it’s so terrifying that you want to RUN. That’s my personal thoughts and interpretations of the chase theme combined with everything from this chapter tho.
I mean, this isn’t the worst chase theme we’ve gotten…but there’s a reason people run with the ‘dishwasher’ bit. Think that this is the only time it actually fits, though.

I love layer 2 its probably my favorite instrument used for any chase theme
And now, let the complaints from the fickle audience... BEGIN!
Yall rlly need to shut up and stop complaining about the chase music. Its sounds fine and fits the killer. They better not change this chase music.
This chapter is going to be everybody's favorite after a long time since 2022
Agree, and i gotta feeling that it's gonna be way better then Tools of Torment.
Layers 1-3 are all so sick (in my personal opinion) with 2 being the coolest layer maybe in the game to me.
4 is fine, no complaints, but it's not at the same level for me as the first 3 layers
I swear if they remove this one like they did xenomorph I'm gonna cry
That’s my personal thoughts and interpretations of the chase theme combined with everything from this chapter tho.
layer 1 is peak
I hope they keep it like this though.
It's perfect...
PLEASE DONT CHANGE IT
I WANT AT LEAST ONE WASHING MACINE THEME TO STAY COME ON
i kinda like it, its satisfying asf when chased... makes me actually fear him a bit.
He needs help :(
THE CHASE MUSIC 😂💃🕺
REAL
First two layers are giving some silent hill 2 and 3 vibes and I love it
Second phase reminds me of when I was little. used to think my heartbeat was tiny people chopping things up in my ear.
I'm so hyped for this chapter
Man this year is good I hope the later chapters this are even better
i personally like it, it fits him
I mean, this isn’t the worst chase theme we’ve gotten…but there’s a reason people run with the ‘dishwasher’ bit.
Think that this is the only time it actually fits, though.
Pretty fitting i really like it
„Nobody leavess…..Tonight“
It’s sounds like the chain of a Rollercoaster but I think it’s okay it’s much less intense than I expected
