Go check it out! th-cam.com/video/jxO1LMy1jRI/w-d-xo.html
Dude you absolutely nailed it. I fucking love it. My most favorite is 8 meters part. It's just that sense of impending doom, just itching, edging to break loose. Like Dude's- *ahem* I mean Genocide's mental state, crumbling, holding onto the last dust of sanity, rapidly approaching the breakdown, and then *click.* All hell has broken loose..
Would be awesome if from the killers perspective, he was the dude from postal 2, 3, 4 and brain damage, always cracking jokes, one liners and shit talking the survivors, but what the survivors see is the dude from postal 1, it would show how disconnected postal dude is from reality.
Imagine a taunt where he asks someone to sign a petition. Like you turn the corner all tense and just see a crazed maniac with blood all over him holding a clipboard and saying “would you please sign my petition?”
WAIT I HAVE A GOOD SUGGESTION, IT WOULD BE COOL IF THE PLAYER THAT SELECT "the genocide" a different menu would appear for both team, the killer and survivors, what could be anything like postal 1 menu, a survivor dead in the ground because of "the genocide" mori, or the all people he killed before going in the entity realm, or the church photo
My idea for the Lore: "Mission over; that was all the Dude could say after he collapsed in the floor of that school. Declared insane by the court, he was sent to a sanatorium where he was studied day after day, hour after hour; didn't matter though, for he kept locking himself up in his own world, where he tried to keep the favour of some unknown figure. However, between blackouts and nightmares and the voice in his head screaming in his ears, a feeling always sprung up, a certainty that the "hate plague" was a fluke and he achieved nothing. One day, a strange fog appeared in his room, enveloping him like a mother's hug, and the next thing he knew, he was in Paradise again, but in a darker version of it. Suddenly the devil spoke again, but something was off. It was more sinister, more out of place than ever. _Your errand is not over, Dude. There is more vermin for you to cleanse from the Earth._ It didn't take him long to realise what that meant. Weapons ready, he ran towards a voice screaming in the distance... The Earth was still hungry, and he still had the mission to satiate it. And best thing of all, there was no one to judge him now..."
Power:Psycotic Breakdown Postal dude will start with just his trusty shovel but this interactions...this angry people...THOSE DAMN PARASITES Psycotic breakdown will charge with -survivors- Infected ones looking at you... After psycotic breakdown is activated: The survivors will suffer the PANIC effect causing them to scream in rage every 9 seconds The postal dude will pull out a shotgun and run around The shotgun has 2 shots but they will put whoever he shoots in a dieing state Mori:He will grab you by the neck and shoot you in the stomach with a pistol until he stops hearing screams
The "32 meters" ambient is my personal favourite. At this distance, we don't even see Postal Dude, but already feel his presence, as if it's not a person, but an absolute natural disaster, like a forest fire. This is the kind of atmosphere you expect from a person who will not spare anyone and whom nothing will stop.
My personal favorite is 8 meters. It's the approaching carnage that is on the bring of going absolutely haywire, like Dude's mental state. Just edging to be broken, and all hell let loose. And ofcourse the chase after it is just *cheffs kiss* 👌
I love how the Chase theme not only gives a sensation of fear and upcoming threat, but also thrill, like you're personally watching a hunt or expecting the Survivors to fight the Genocide despite knowing it's pointless.
This is probably the best fan made chase music I have ever heard, I wouldn’t think twice If someone told me this was the new chase music for any killer. Amazingly done
I didn't ripped it from postal redux. Postal redux are using the cuckolaand sample pack with many ambient noises (many games have used that sample like, like half life). You just add distortion and you get postal soundtracks. Go tell this kind of thing to people, that literally use the movie soundtracks for "their chase themes".
"10/17/1997 The Earth is hungry. Its heart throbs and demands cleansing. The Earth is also thirsty." And then the great genocide in history has *Began*
I love the fact that loading screen tracks from Postal 1 and Redux Rampage tracks are used in different parts of the terror radius I think 32 meters is "Home" 16 meters is "Parade of Disasters" and 8 meters is "Temporomandibular Grind" Honestly really cool that parts of those songs are in the background.
at first i was wondering if it fit, but this music convinced me that yes, a human-genocidic insane man tempted by a demonic voice in his head to kill and maim innocents would work just fine in dbd
This is super unnerving. Ive never played or heard of Postal before. But this music gives me the impression of a crazy man coming to kill me and enjoy it. No point trying to reason or plead, just hide and pray he doesent find you.
So Postal 1/Redux are isometric shooters with the playable character being a man who is undergoing a psychosis (Going postal) and goes on a rampage through the county Postal 2 Onward are FPS shitpost type games where you can freeroam a bit but to complete the day need to do quests in a world that is slowly going insane, though I never touched Postal 3.
I feel like this was made for a small group of people....AND I LOVE IT! I can't think of it off the top of my head but the 32 meters sounds so close to the postal 1 soundtrack its nutty.
Thank you I used the same sample pack that been used for the first postal soundtracks, also took the start of the temporomandibular grind for the third layer
Killer: the genocide. Difficulty: hard A unhinged sociopath, he found corruption and evil within the very streets he used to call home, and goes postal, taking matters into his own hands to cleanse this vile filth. His power "Arranged arsenal" lets him find multiple tools for the job throughout the map to help in his crusade. His perks "No Regret" "Run From Me" and "Adrenaline Rush" let him damage survivors items if they fight back, give his obsession a small speedboost but giivng them the broken status when they are unhooked for several seconds, and "Adrenaline Rush" which causes makes him break pallets slightly slower, but after 3 gens he gains an incredible speed boost to the break action. "Arranged Arsenal" Around the map the genocide may find supply crates which include a certain tool, these crates will always contain the same tool, these tools provide a variety of uses, at the cost of needing a longer time to recharge, which is sped up by using others. Tool one: Missile launcher Reduces the genocides speed by 20%, has one use and requires 3-7 minutes to recharge (getting 1 minute longer after each use) and is not sped up by picking up other tools, when fired it will reduce the health state of survivors to injures and break nearby objects, this cannot kill. Tool two: I.E.D Improvised Explosive Device An improvised explosive device able to be placed on generators, generators with I.E.DSs placed on them will have it ontop of the generator, skillchecks no longer have a great outcome and are smaller, if failed they will explode and injure a healthy survivor, this takes 1-2 minutes to recharge and is speed up by 10 seconds per tool used, up to 2 I.E.Ds may exist at a time. Tool three: Flamer A Flamethrower, it contains 10 charges (1 charge = 1.5 seconds), when a survivor is hit by the flamer for a total of 2 charges, they gain the charred status, which slows all actions except movement speed, by 5%, it can be cleansed by the survivor itself after 20 seconds, or by another survivor for 10, it takes 4 minutes to recharge and is speed up by 20 per tool use. Tool four: T.E.D Timed Explosive Device A timed explosive devide that can be placed on pallets, walls and vaults, it will instantly destroy pallets and walls its placed on instantly upon using ctrl, although it is visible (looking like a clay explosive) on the object, it will damage a survivor that is on it if it goes off, it takes 1-2 minutes to recharge and is sped up by 10 seconds per tool used, up to 4 T.E.Ds may exist at a time.
perk clarifications i forgot to add oopsy "No Regret" upon being stunned or blinded by a survivor, take away 2/3/4 charges from items held by survivors in a 6/8/10M radius. "I Regret nothing." - the genocide "Run From Me" when your obsession is chased, they gain a 5/6/7% speedboost for 10 seconds, this goes on cooldown for 3 minutes after it is used, when hooked they gain the broken status effect for 40/50/60 seconds. "Blessed are the meek for they make easy targets." - the genocide "Adrenaline rush" When the game starts, your speed for damaging anything is reduced by 30/20/10%, upon 3 generators being complete your speed for damaging anything is sped up by 30/40/50%. "The air ripens with the odors of the dead and dying. It smells like...victory." - the genocide
addons because why not [purple] burnt trumpet: Charred instead of slowing down every action, now only spreads to generator repairs and spreads among survivors "A glorious symphony of slaughter! 76 tromboners led the death parade..." [green] broken pilot helmet: The missile launcher no longer damages survivors, but now does not slow the genocide down, it recharges faster "Feathers will fly, but big birds won't. They WILL however, be going south this winter...FAR south!" [purple] bloodied hammer: T.E.Ds will no longer harm survivors, but now recharge in 20 seconds and 8 may exist at a time "Blood splinters everywhere. Like a river, flowing around me, pulling me in its wake." [green] popped balloon: I.E.Ds trigger more difficult skill checks, up to 3 may exist at a time now "Unfamiliar bright lights dot the horizon. As i draw closer, the wind carries distant screams." [iridescent] iridescent glasses: tools now change their position when taken, their recharges are cut in half "The Earth is hungry. Its heart throbs and demands cleansing." [iridescent] bloodsoaked shirt: Your speed is now 3.90M/s, every tool can now kill "Im like a cancer at the back of the head, the demon that won't let you sleep at night."
@@redsoldier3884 I think it's way more like he's basically just junkie Wesker. Trenchcoat, sunglasses, brownish/red hair, tall, skinny (although one in a lean way the other a drug addict way) and the weird otherworldy entity controlling them, massive ego.. even the voiceactors sound the same. They'd need to give him pretty unique lines and a pretty unique power JUST to not be confused with Wesker for the non-Postal fans.. The devs could potentially take advantage of the fact that one entity is physical and the other is mental. Wesker is basically just a bio weapon host and Postal dude has some insane stage of schizophrenia/ or some kind of mentally debilitating insanity. Lots of people argue that Postal is "too adult" for dead by daylight, but forget that the whole premise is basically putting people on meat hooks until they die.
As a huge fan of Postal 1, mad appreciation for you bringing light to such a niche collab idea. I love Postal and DBD and this music is a fantasitic capsulation of what could be if they collided. Great work!
This was clearly made by someone who loves the OG Postal. The soundtrack motifs and references are fantastic, from the haunting "Home" in the 32 meter terror radius, to the beginning of "Tempormandibular Grind" in the 8 meter. Absolutely amazing, and the only one who did just as much justice to a concept/character is Firs Encounter Assault with his SAW chase theme concept. The only thing missing is the four-string DBD theme riddled in there-- but man, is this great.
I love the screeching and howling in the terror radius. It gives such a genuine sense of "there is no hope. Not a one." Also, the 8 meter terror radius is genuine adrenaline fuel and I have never heard something like it.
What I like about the meters music is not just how scary it sounds but its sampling the past game loading screens such as the home level for 32 and Parade of Disasters for 16 meters including the loading screen theme using central park, i love this concept honestly i could only imagine if they actually got him in the game.
My idea for the Survivor: *Vince Eckels, the Tuba Player.* Ever since he was kid, Vince was always him. Existing; almost like he was the definition of that word. Never popular nor bullied at school, never the smartest shed tool or the strongest kid... he was just Vince, the guy people would look at on the street without a care. Despite that, he tried to be as helpful as possible, to be seen even for five seconds. Helping his few friends to survive high school, cleaning the neighbors's yards, and even guiding the cops to catch a robber or two. It didn't matter, though, for he was always forgotten, kept relevant for a month at best. His "luck" followed him to adulthood, jumping from jobs until he got a gig for Paradise's marching band. There were other ones, but none he could learn on time (or afford the training courses). From now on, music was his main trade, especifically the tuba. Although he wasn't the best at it, since he was more of a piano geek, it was that or not having food on the table. For a while, things were looking up for him. He played, got paid, he could pay his debts and even make some friends. That is, until that day. It was during the parade when he saw him, the loner from the other side of town; when they crossed their eyes, he felt something... strange. Like a horrible thing _waiting_ to happen at any second. And when it passed, he saw his colleagues burning, their screams and the audience' fused in a deafening crescendo as gunshots followed it. As he ran away and hid in a corner, he recognized him. Maybe it was the voices on his head, maybe drugs, or PTSD, or he was just crazy. Either way, he proceeded to "cleanse the virus" from Paradise: women and men, old and young, even the ostriches of the zoo fell like leaves on a harsh winter. Not even the police or the Army could stop him, for he kept reappearing somewhere else to cause chaos. There were even rumors he somehow got to Japan, but between the falling population rate and the rampant chaos, nothing could be certain. Weeks passed, and Paradise got emptied of life, an empty, corpse-ridden, burnt-out husk. Except for one person: Vince. No matter how many times he tried to escape or tried to save people, the man kept finding him, like rivals from a comic book. In that moment, he realised the town was filled with some strange fog...
Sadly this losed possibilities since Postal left the edgy and creepy side to focus on humor, but knowing the running with scissors staff, they wouldn't reject if the Postal dude is asked to be added in Dead by dealight
Imagine postal dude saying lines after hitting survivor like "it's like wack em all but a lots of screams" or "What was this game rated again" "Your free trial of life has expired dumbass"
This is the first fan DBD killer video where the music was mixed so well I wanted to experience it in game. You realized the concept perfectly, bloody excellent work
As a fan of the Postal franchise AND Dead By Daylight, this is a dream come true. Thank you for sharing. I love these fan made ideas. It gets me excited even though they'll never add these ideas to dbd.
Funnily enough because of the obvious major tonal differences between Postal 1 and its sequels, Postal Dude could easily be either a Killer or a Survivor and both would make complete sense. Hell he could be both, have Corey Cruise could voice the Survivor and have Rick Hunter voice the Killer. You could call the Survivor version The Dude and the Killer version The Other Dude, like they did it in Brain Damaged.
I may not have played the games, but I’ve looked into the lore of Postal so I can gladly say this! Hit the road Legion, let a real psychopath get to work! Awesome job on this!
@@Nihil122 Well, no… the better pick would be Jacket or the Son. Jacket especially since The Entity’s Realm could be another 50 Blessings, forcing him to kill. The Son would take even less convincing. But Jacket is the better Killer option out of them all and the best to exemplify Hotline Miami’s themes in DbD.
I'm not really a big Postal kind of guy, but I feel like if it was made into a chapter for DBD, assuming the killer is Postal Dude, then I feel like his name would probably just be "The Postal Dude", in a similar vein to "The Ghost Face"
“T.P. Dude Jr had done it. He had gone through with his destructive plan of vengeance and genocide. He had killed more people over the course of a week than any other serial killer ever had. In the end, he was left with a triumphant yet bitter and melancholy feeling in the pit of his stomach. The voice in his head that had been guiding him seemed pleased and now only had one last request of him. He lurched forward towards the elementary school with his shotgun in his hand and a grenade in the other. It was time for his rampage to end. However, be it through divine intervention or pure luck, his weapon had run clean of shells. Panicking, he through his grenade. However, it had managed to miss the juveniles on the playground. Realizing that he failed his mission, he fell onto his knees and blacked out. He awoke in a nightmarish facility. In a padded cell and straight-jacket. They had locked him up for the pain he caused and through away the key. The screams of his fellow inmates echoed through the halls at night. He spent most of his days dreaming of what he would do when he managed to escape. But then, a new voice appeared to him. This was not the voice that had guided him the days before, but a different, even darker one. The voice gave him instructions, he, knowing he had no other option, followed through. After he was outside of the asylum, his world began to fade to black. He awoke again in another realm, far from Paradise at least. A world of pain and suffering where maniacs tormented the innocent. He would like it here.”
Voice lines of dude during the game: See a survivor-"Hi there, would you sign my petition?" Hit by a pallet-"You gonna be fu...in kidding" Hit survivor-"My bad!" Get blind by flashlight-"Fu...k you!" Kill a survivor-"I defenetly need more of that!" Kill last survivor-"I regret nothing" Victory-"Now its time to go home" See survivor escape-"Shit!!"
As dark as Postal 1 was, the series will always be remembered for the dark humor and comedy of the second and onward. Especially any of the Postal Dude's petition lines.
I loved this, the only thing that I would change would be what the Killer would be referred to as. In Dead by Daylight, the Killer's nicknames are somewhat implied to be derived from the Survivors. For instance, the Xenomorph is called that because, in the movies, that is what the Alien is referred to as. Ellen refers to it as a Xenomorph, so she would have told the other Survivors that, and hence why the Alien is called that and not "The Alien." That is because we the audience call it the Alien from Alien, but the nicknames are what the characters in the story call them. Micheal Myers is called "The Shape" because he is called the shape of evil in the movies. For Postal Dude, in the games' story, his full name is, you won't fucking believe me, The Postal Dude Jr. The mailman even refers to him as "Mr. The Dude." So by this logic, if he was a Killer in Dead by Daylight, he would be called "The Dude." I would have preferred if he was called "The Postal Dude" in Dead by Daylight, but the game's developers typically only call the Killers with "The," followed by one word that describes the Killer. tl;dr, if Postal Dude would get into Dead by Daylight as a Killer, he would simply be called "The Dude." Also, the music is incredible.
I'm mostly refering to Postal 1 dude, and I don't remember someone call him like that in that game. We're not taking other chapters for this one, and "The dude" sounds funny. It would work for me if I did postal 2 dude chapter. Thanks!
@@Savage1D That is true, it was not canonized that his name was literally "The Postal Dude," until Postal 2 came around. I agree that "The Dude" sounds funny, but that is what he is. In Postal 2, you play as The Postal Dude's son, "The Postal Dude Jr." This means that the protagonist in Postal 1's name is "The Postal Dude." But if we only look at Postal 1, he is not called or referred to as anything. Therefore, a name for the Killer would be difficult to come up with. He could be called "The Insane" or "The Demented" because he is a full-blown sociopath. Heck, we could even call him "The Sociopath." I just think he would be called "The Dude" because that is just what everyone, both the characters in the games and the fans of the games, refers to him as. He is The Postal Dude. That's just my thoughts though.
I LOVE IT! Its so good and as a Postal fan it feels like a dream seeing my boy get his deserved attention. Also, I like how there are notes of Temporamandibular grind on 8 meter terror radius
Sure the monsters in dbd are scary but the thought of a regular man is just far scarier to me. Like yeah the game has humans but they're exaggerated. This is a person that can exist and live in your neighborhood at this very moment. There's nothing fictional about it. THAT'S horror
The Genocide power: Deadly Insanity "The pills was suppost to hold his Insanity, but instead it make him more insane and deadly" 8 pills bottle will appear around the map, the genocide can see the aura of those bottles, once used it, the genocide get the unknow buff effects: -increase lunge range by 20% -get 5% of haste for 15 seconds -increase breaking pallets and vault windows of 25% for 30 seconds Any survivor that take the bottles can use it as the advange, holding much longer for 50s will make them dissapear, the follow effects are: -increase vault speed by 4% for 15s -get haste of 6% for 30s If the survivor take the bottles 3 times (the amount of use is 5), they auras will be reveal for Genocide. If the genocide get all bottles, he will enter into Insane mode, granting him all the stats for 50s Aftet those 50s, the bottles will not have they aura reveal and cannot be used for 40 seconds.
Believe me...if they had told me that the Postal em DBD chapter was already out and they sent me this video I would believe it instantly. Seriously, it's very well done, especially the chase theme.
As soon as i'd heard the build up to the chase as i heard the drums to temporomandibular grind i'd immediately regreted nothing from clicking on this video
You got the vibe of the first Postal songs down to a T that's amazing, I've no idea what sort of distortion that is but man does it sound cool and unique - great work on this 👏!
Game Plan: The Genocide is the only strictly ranged killer in the game. His game plan is less about chasing down survivors and more about getting them in line of sight to attack with one of his many tools. The Genocides gets stronger as the round goes on, as his main course of getting survivors into line of sight becomes easier with "Blood Path". The longer the Genocide Hunts and the more Generators done, the stronger and more dangerous he becomes, till he can easily take down an entire group of survivors. As such, surviving The Rampage is more about hiding then running from him, and taking the opportunities presented when they are presented, or die choking on your own blood.
Na, that should be for the survivor version Postal 1 dude as the killer called "The Genocide" Postal 2 dude as the survivor called "The Dude" with skins for the other Dude designs past 2
Postal dude if implimented improperly would basically just be Methhead Wesker. They look the same, dress the same, have an impossibly huge ego and both have a snarky voice and sound pretty much the same voiceacting wise(both Connor (Wesker V) and Rick Hunter (Main Postal Dude V), they even got similar otherworldly entity buddies (although one of them is physical and the other is just actual insanity or a very high stage delusion/schizophrenia). Postal Dude would have to be set apart lots and lots in order to look unique to non-Postal fans, so here's my take on possible powers for The Dude Killer: "The Genocide" / "The Dude" Casual m1 weapon: dingy pocketknife (Postal 2/4 refrence), Active ability button weapon: Revolver Primary power: Hell Cage You call upon an otherworldy hunger for red falling stars, sinking into the earth like pen on thin paper- and athough the both of you are cornered, you refuse to be the feast. "The earth hungers..." - Begin with Hell Cage halfway filled. -Hell cage is charged whenever a survivor is being downed and requires 1 down for a full charge. Press the killer active ability button to activate Hell Cage while any survivor is in direct line of sight (must be aimed, like a gun). - Will fire 1 bullet from revolver gun. If missed, will take 30 seconds to recharge for another try. If connected, will: -manifest " Hunger" on the affected survivor. Survivor loses 1 health state- and upon escaping chase a physical looming entity enshouded in black smoke and flashing mouths will manifest over the survivor when exiting killer terror radius. "The hunger" is not infectious. "Hell Cage" stage 1 will manifest after leaving killer terror radius. It is visible to other survivors as a black cloud looming over the survivor. "Hell Cage" stage 2 will manifest after 30 seconds of being ignored. Survivor will not be able to hear incoming skillchecks or the killer terror radius unless within an 18m range. "Hell Cage" stage 3 will incapacitate the survivor within 45 seconds of ignoring the second stage. While you are unable to hear the killer, will flash faint imagery of mouths, the earth, and strange destroyed places while within the killer's terror radius every 5 seconds (36m) 2.5 seconds (23m) and 1.5 seconds (15m-chase). A strange- yet quiet and uncanny, almost grinding noise replaces basic hearing. Upon being downed, Hell cage will reset all effects. Hell cage can be removed by other survivors by "reassuring" them (10 second animation stage 1, 15 second stage 2) but can not remove stage 3. If survivor is in stage 3 OR alone, Hell cage can be reset by a generator being completed/ an exit gate being opened. Secondary power: I.E.D (improvised explosive device) Every map spawns with 1 I.E.D device implimented on 3 random gens. 3 I.E.Ds may exist at a time, but will be limited to 2 after the third generator is completed and the third is removed from the generator. any generator with an I.E.D attatched will: -Alert the killer with a loud noise notification when the generator is suddenly stopped being repaired after 25% progress. -Regress when unattended in the killer's terror radius (32m), however if being worked on will grant a 2% bonus to repairing speed but result in an EXTREMELY difficult skillcheck when entering the 18m terror radius. I.E.Ds may be removed from the generator by survivors (10s to remove) and will be added to inventory with a 5% deduction to movement speed and render items unusable until placed. When an I.E.D is removed, another will spawn on another random generator 15 seconds later. Removing an I.E.D will trigger a loud noise notification and instantly charge Hell Cage. I.E.Ds may be used by survivors to place on nearby upright pallets (7s). Upon a sucessful stun OR the killer breaking the pallet the killer will suffer from a additional 2 second stun, suffer from the status effect "deaf" (replacing all noise with white noise) for 2 seconds, followed by 3 second blinding. When a survivor is carrying an I.E.D, all pallets are immediately within 36m are shown in an aura. If a survivor is downed while carrying an I.E.D, the killer will suffer a 2 second stun, 2 seconds of "deaf" status and a 3 second blind. PERKS: Hex: Sign my Petition (joke) "You tell psychiatrists it's a "desire for a community" that drove you.. you were honest, you just meant a dead one." -If 3 or more survivors are healing together or repairing a generator, Hex: Sign my Petition will light a dull totem. If the totem is not cleansed before the generator is completed, every survivor working on the generator upon completion must pass an extremely difficult skillcheck- and if failed will result in the generator with the least progress/a random generator with progress/the generator with the most progress exploding and losing 20/25/30% progress. Mind Collapse -Survivors when healing another survivor hear your terror radius from up to 63m. If you are within 18m of the survivor, both survivors suffer from oblivious for 20 seconds after you leave the radius. If a survivor tries repairing a generator/ healing a different survivor/unlocking while mind collapse is in use they will be faced with a difficult soundless skillcheck. Run From Me "What is it, do I have something on my face?" -when grabbing a survivor off a gen, pallet or window, gain 150% movement speed for 5 seconds. Anyone who enters your 18m terror radius will become exposed for 15 seconds.
New killer: The Genocide Weapons: Bat, Shovel, Scissors, Scythe Terror radius: 32 meters, Height: Tall, Speed: 4.6 m/s Power: Fucked up day The more people try to screw you over the sooner they'll find out exactly why paradise is a wasteland... Twice. Begin the trial with 0 tokens and earn them throughout to the maximum of 100. Getting stunned by a pallet, survivors completing a generator, survivors healing inside your terror radius and survivors missing skill checks grants you tokens. Reaching 30 tokens prevents the tokens from going lower than 30 and grants The Genocide the ability to switch between a bat and a shovel. Reaching 60 tokens grants the ability to throw scissors that can bounce off walls and objects. Reaching 90 tokens grants the ability to equip the Scythe for a short duration(15 seconds). Hitting a survivor with the Scythe grants 20 tokens. Initiating a swing with the Scythe removes 30 tokens. The Scythe is unequipped when the tokens fall below 60, when the time runs out or when The Genocide intentionally puts it away. If the Scythe was put away intentionally the tokens get reset down to 60. When the tokens reach 100 The Genocide "Snaps". Special ability: Snap The genocide sees the killer instinct of his soon-to-be victims at all times and gets a 10% movement speed increase (from 4.6 to 5), as well as empowering his attack to inflict hemorrhage and magled status effects. The buff lasts for 35 seconds. After the duration ends the tokens are reset down to 30. Special weapon: The Bat Normal swing with a slightly larger lunge. (about a third of coup de grace) Special weapon: The Shovel Normal swing with no lunge. The survivor doesn't get a speed boost after being hit and instead receives a 5% Hindered debuff for 10 seconds. Special ability: The Scissors Toss up to 5 scissors in a 5 second window of time. The scissors bounce twice off of geometry of the level. If at least two scissors hit the survivor then the survivor takes a state of damage. Cannot down. If the survivor was injured apply deep wound status effect. Special weapon: The Scythe Instadown attack with a windup and a longer reach but a smaller lunge (Half of normal)
New Killer: The Dude Base Terror Radius: 40m Max Base Movement Speed: 5.0 m/s Power: Genocidal Instinct *The Earth has given you a mission, and you are not one to let it down* Ability 1: Molotov Cocktail Ability 2: Gun Armory (no reloads)
Postal 1 was so much different from everything afterwards... it's practically a separate game unto itself. Genuinely disturbing. and a lot more believable in terms of the insanity (which isn't played for cheap laughs).
I think it would be a cool idea that on the killer pov he says lines and junk like normal but on the survivor side he just murmurs to himself due to how bad he is mentality

3:30, probably should've also put Parade of Disasters also as a reference-
And th-cam.com/video/NsN1IafC33Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NVtUR4v9DPcM4H1z you used as a reference
Would be awesome if from the killers perspective, he was the dude from postal 2, 3, 4 and brain damage, always cracking jokes, one liners and shit talking the survivors, but what the survivors see is the dude from postal 1, it would show how disconnected postal dude is from reality.
Genius

entity promised him sign a petition
And a free milk
And one (1) blonde postal babe
my new headcanon tbh, postal dude shows up to the realm just to ask the entity to sign the petition, goes along with the trials just out of boredom
Imagine a taunt where he asks someone to sign a petition. Like you turn the corner all tense and just see a crazed maniac with blood all over him holding a clipboard and saying “would you please sign my petition?”
the entity promised him the world would be cleansed
Imagine they instead just called him "The Dude". The most innocuous name for a killer ever, unless you're a Postal fan.
It would work for postal 2, 4 and brain damaged's dude. (there isnt a 3rd game, how odd.)
But "The Genocide" works for the POSTAL dude.
@@glory.shared not a bad idea...
How to make DbD disturbing and creepy again in one simple step...
Postal loading screens and menu still give me goosebumps....
Gay and corny
WAIT I HAVE A GOOD SUGGESTION, IT WOULD BE COOL IF THE PLAYER THAT SELECT "the genocide" a different menu would appear for both team, the killer and survivors, what could be anything like postal 1 menu, a survivor dead in the ground because of "the genocide" mori, or the all people he killed before going in the entity realm, or the church photo
My idea for the Lore:
"Mission over; that was all the Dude could say after he collapsed in the floor of that school.
There is more vermin for you to cleanse from the Earth._
It didn't take him long to realise what that meant. Weapons ready, he ran towards a voice screaming in the distance...
The Earth was still hungry, and he still had the mission to satiate it. And best thing of all, there was no one to judge him now..."
Your lore is fantastic.
I'd call him "The Demon" for his title.
@@SarcasticPossum Thank you. It's my specialty, I think :)
@aliceviens7 the original Postal 1 ended with the Dude trying to shoot a school and suffering a mental breakdown.
Power:Psycotic Breakdown
Postal dude will start with just his trusty shovel but this interactions...this angry people...THOSE DAMN PARASITES
Psycotic breakdown will charge with -survivors- Infected ones looking at you...
After psycotic breakdown is activated:
The survivors will suffer the PANIC effect causing them to scream in rage every 9 seconds
The postal dude will pull out a shotgun and run around
The shotgun has 2 shots but they will put whoever he shoots in a dieing state
Mori:He will grab you by the neck and shoot you in the stomach with a pistol until he stops hearing screams
Wow, I thought Postal was just a killing simulator, not a story game with a demon inside the Dude
He absolutely is a force of nature. Sometimes, the world lets the hominids sort themselves out.
Wesker: " *Aha! My chase music is a total banger* 😎"
Postal dude: " *Would you sign this petition please?* 😈"
if Postal Dude would be added to dbd there would be debates if Wesker and Dude have the best chase music

Wesker's theme is still miles better. I do like sign my petition dude's 8M music tho, but still. Not even close

I think calling him 'The Savior' or 'The Cleanser' would be more fitting. Considering in his own twisted way he believed that he was saving the world.
I like how this is based on Postal, and not Postal 2, 3, or 4, which are all comic and comedic versions of the OG Postal game.
Postal 1 is realistically the only possible way to make Postal Dude a horror game figure / killer.

he didnt make it, he ripped it from the postal redux ost
@@Savage1DThis music track would probably fit this concept I made for a chapter. They fit really well, great job!
The Earth is also thirsty."
And then the great genocide in history has
*Began*
I love the fact that loading screen tracks from Postal 1 and Redux Rampage tracks are used in different parts of the terror radius
I think
32 meters is "Home"
16 meters is "Parade of Disasters"
and 8 meters is "Temporomandibular Grind"
Honestly really cool that parts of those songs are in the background.
I can also hear central park in the menu theme
And menu theme has postal brain damaged theme too! :3
at first i was wondering if it fit, but this music convinced me that yes, a human-genocidic insane man tempted by a demonic voice in his head to kill and maim innocents would work just fine in dbd
"Demonic voice" I mean Corey Cruise isn't THAT bad.
To do: torment innocents in the fog dimension
This is super unnerving. Ive never played or heard of Postal before. But this music gives me the impression of a crazy man coming to kill me and enjoy it. No point trying to reason or plead, just hide and pray he doesent find you.
So Postal 1/Redux are isometric shooters with the playable character being a man who is undergoing a psychosis (Going postal) and goes on a rampage through the county
Postal 2 Onward are FPS shitpost type games where you can freeroam a bit but to complete the day need to do quests in a world that is slowly going insane, though I never touched Postal 3.
I feel like this was made for a small group of people....AND I LOVE IT!
I can't think of it off the top of my head but the 32 meters sounds so close to the postal 1 soundtrack its nutty.
Thank you
I used the same sample pack that been used for the first postal soundtracks, also took the start of the temporomandibular grind for the third layer
Postal dude as a killer would either be completely goofy or horrifying depending on the execution
Or both.
@@theepicspy570 Both are good.
I think his demon voice (the voice that talks to him in postal 1) could be like postal 2 dude, but the killer itself could be postal 1 dude
Glad to see that more people are taking interest in a POSTAL chapter
Weird thing was I was thinking about how a postal dbd theme would sound like earlier in the day. Nice work though!
Killer: the genocide.
Difficulty: hard
A unhinged sociopath, he found corruption and evil within the very streets he used to call home, and goes postal, taking matters into his own hands to cleanse this vile filth.
"Arranged Arsenal"
Around the map the genocide may find supply crates which include a certain tool, these crates will always contain the same tool, these tools provide a variety of uses, at the cost of needing a longer time to recharge, which is sped up by using others.
Tool one: Missile launcher
Reduces the genocides speed by 20%, has one use and requires 3-7 minutes to recharge (getting 1 minute longer after each use) and is not sped up by picking up other tools, when fired it will reduce the health state of survivors to injures and break nearby objects, this cannot kill.
Tool two: I.E.D Improvised Explosive Device
An improvised explosive device able to be placed on generators, generators with I.E.DSs placed on them will have it ontop of the generator, skillchecks no longer have a great outcome and are smaller, if failed they will explode and injure a healthy survivor, this takes 1-2 minutes to recharge and is speed up by 10 seconds per tool used, up to 2 I.E.Ds may exist at a time.
Tool three: Flamer
A Flamethrower, it contains 10 charges (1 charge = 1.5 seconds), when a survivor is hit by the flamer for a total of 2 charges, they gain the charred status, which slows all actions except movement speed, by 5%, it can be cleansed by the survivor itself after 20 seconds, or by another survivor for 10, it takes 4 minutes to recharge and is speed up by 20 per tool use.
Tool four: T.E.D Timed Explosive Device
A timed explosive devide that can be placed on pallets, walls and vaults, it will instantly destroy pallets and walls its placed on instantly upon using ctrl, although it is visible (looking like a clay explosive) on the object, it will damage a survivor that is on it if it goes off, it takes 1-2 minutes to recharge and is sped up by 10 seconds per tool used, up to 4 T.E.Ds may exist at a time.
perk clarifications i forgot to add oopsy
"No Regret" upon being stunned or blinded by a survivor, take away 2/3/4 charges from items held by survivors in a 6/8/10M radius.
"I Regret nothing." - the genocide
"Run From Me" when your obsession is chased, they gain a 5/6/7% speedboost for 10 seconds, this goes on cooldown for 3 minutes after it is used, when hooked they gain the broken status effect for 40/50/60 seconds.
"Blessed are the meek for they make easy targets." - the genocide
"Adrenaline rush" When the game starts, your speed for damaging anything is reduced by 30/20/10%, upon 3 generators being complete your speed for damaging anything is sped up by 30/40/50%.
"The air ripens with the odors of the dead and dying. It smells like...victory." - the genocide
addons because why not
[purple] burnt trumpet: Charred instead of slowing down every action, now only spreads to generator repairs and spreads among survivors
"A glorious symphony of slaughter! 76 tromboners led the death parade..."
[green] broken pilot helmet: The missile launcher no longer damages survivors, but now does not slow the genocide down, it recharges faster
"Feathers will fly, but big birds won't. They WILL however, be going south this winter...FAR south!"
[purple] bloodied hammer: T.E.Ds will no longer harm survivors, but now recharge in 20 seconds and 8 may exist at a time
"Blood splinters everywhere. Like a river, flowing around me, pulling me in its wake."
[green] popped balloon: I.E.Ds trigger more difficult skill checks, up to 3 may exist at a time now
"Unfamiliar bright lights dot the horizon. As i draw closer, the wind carries distant screams."
[iridescent] iridescent glasses: tools now change their position when taken, their recharges are cut in half
"The Earth is hungry. Its heart throbs and demands cleansing."
[iridescent] bloodsoaked shirt: Your speed is now 3.90M/s, every tool can now kill
"Im like a cancer at the back of the head, the demon that won't let you sleep at night."
This is quite well done and imo adds a new and interesting way to play DBD
The chase music is so good it makes it even more sad that devs are not gonna make postal chapter
If they got chucky, I think the possibilities are endless. And RWC (the devs) are notoriously lenient with their IP’s
RWS would def let it happen. just BHVR wouldnt.
With how disturbing postal 1 is I’m not surprised they will never put it in the game
@@redsoldier3884 I think it's way more like he's basically just junkie Wesker. The devs could potentially take advantage of the fact that one entity is physical and the other is mental.
Thanks you!

I love the screeching and howling in the terror radius. It gives such a genuine sense of "there is no hope. Not a one."
Also, the 8 meter terror radius is genuine adrenaline fuel and I have never heard something like it.
What I like about the meters music is not just how scary it sounds but its sampling the past game loading screens such as the home level for 32 and Parade of Disasters for 16 meters

The music is great, I really love the concept of Postal in DBD. I was thinking that the killer would be called "The Dude" tho XD
I'd go with something like 'The Savior' or 'The Cleanser' considering he believed himself to be saving the world by doing what he was doing.
i really appreciate that you used the Cuckooland Ghost In The Machine samples to great effect, it's not POSTAL without them
My idea for the Survivor:
*Vince Eckels, the Tuba Player.*
Ever since he was kid, Vince was always him.
I need the 8 meters extended its SO GOOD
Oof, I love the use of "Is that the door?" here in the main theme. Other samples I've heard just use it raw, but I love how you've distorted it

Wow. Just wow. I would buy dlc right away if it really came out in the game. Sad it never gonna happen
When he hooks a survivor for the third time, he should go "you should've just signed the stupid petition".
It's actully very accurate to what I imagined for his story. Great one, Dude
Voice lines of dude during the game:
See a survivor-"Hi there, would you sign my petition?"
Hit by a pallet-"You gonna be fu...in kidding"
Hit survivor-"My bad!"
Get blind by flashlight-"Fu...k you!"
Kill a survivor-"I defenetly need more of that!"
Kill last survivor-"I regret nothing"
Victory-"Now its time to go home"
See survivor escape-"Shit!!"
As dark as Postal 1 was, the series will always be remembered for the dark humor and comedy of the second and onward. Especially any of the Postal Dude's petition lines.
This is one of if not the best concepts I´ve seen. Good job.
"The deranged" perhaps@@Gaminboi2864

“You must be freezing, let me warm you up”
The Genocide power: Deadly Insanity
"The pills was suppost to hold his Insanity, but instead it make him more insane and deadly"
8 pills bottle will appear around the map, the genocide can see the aura of those bottles, once used it, the genocide get the unknow buff effects:
-increase lunge range by 20%
-get 5% of haste for 15 seconds
-increase breaking pallets and vault windows of 25% for 30 seconds
Any survivor that take the bottles can use it as the advange, holding much longer for 50s will make them dissapear, the follow effects are:
-increase vault speed by 4% for 15s
-get haste of 6% for 30s
If the survivor take the bottles 3 times (the amount of use is 5), they auras will be reveal for Genocide.
If the genocide get all bottles, he will enter into Insane mode, granting him all the stats for 50s
Aftet those 50s, the bottles will not have they aura reveal and cannot be used for 40 seconds.

This just so awesome dude. Amazing
As soon as i'd heard the build up to the chase as i heard the drums to temporomandibular grind i'd immediately regreted nothing from clicking on this video
This is damn good mate!
You got the vibe of the first Postal songs down to a T that's amazing, I've no idea what sort of distortion that is but man does it sound cool and unique - great work on this 👏!
I would love a full version of the chase music as another video.
wdym full?
Not calling the killer “the dude” would be a miss IMO
Na, that should be for the survivor version
Postal 1 dude as the killer called "The Genocide"
Postal 2 dude as the survivor called "The Dude" with skins for the other Dude designs past 2
Postal Dude would have to be set apart lots and lots in order to look unique to non-Postal fans, so here's my take on possible powers for The Dude
Killer: "The Genocide" / "The Dude"
Casual m1 weapon: dingy pocketknife (Postal 2/4 refrence),
Active ability button weapon: Revolver
Primary power: Hell Cage
You call upon an otherworldy hunger for red falling stars, sinking into the earth like pen on thin paper- and athough the both of you are cornered, you refuse to be the feast.
"The earth hungers..."
- Begin with Hell Cage halfway filled.
If connected, will:
-manifest " Hunger" on the affected survivor.
Secondary power: I.E.D (improvised explosive device)
Every map spawns with 1 I.E.D device implimented on 3 random gens. 3 I.E.Ds may exist at a time, but will be limited to 2 after the third generator is completed and the third is removed from the generator. any generator with an I.E.D attatched will:
-Alert the killer with a loud noise notification when the generator is suddenly stopped being repaired after 25% progress.
PERKS:
Hex: Sign my Petition (joke)
"You tell psychiatrists it's a "desire for a community" that drove you.. you were honest, you just meant a dead one."
-If 3 or more survivors are healing together or repairing a generator, Hex: Sign my Petition will light a dull totem. If the totem is not cleansed before the generator is completed, every survivor working on the generator upon completion must pass an extremely difficult skillcheck- and if failed will result in the generator with the least progress/a random generator with progress/the generator with the most progress exploding and losing 20/25/30% progress.
Mind Collapse
-Survivors when healing another survivor hear your terror radius from up to 63m. If you are within 18m of the survivor, both survivors suffer from oblivious for 20 seconds after you leave the radius. If a survivor tries repairing a generator/ healing a different survivor/unlocking while mind collapse is in use they will be faced with a difficult soundless skillcheck.
Run From Me
"What is it, do I have something on my face?"
-when grabbing a survivor off a gen, pallet or window, gain 150% movement speed for 5 seconds. Anyone who enters your 18m terror radius will become exposed for 15 seconds.
Now is the time to spam the satisfaction survey by asking them to add our postal dude.
Excellent soundtrack
I WANT THIS SO BAD IT HURTS
New killer: The Genocide
Weapons: Bat, Shovel, Scissors, Scythe
Terror radius: 32 meters, Height: Tall, Speed: 4.6 m/s
Power: Fucked up day
The more people try to screw you over the sooner they'll find out exactly why paradise is a wasteland...
Special ability: Snap
The genocide sees the killer instinct of his soon-to-be victims at all times and gets a 10% movement speed increase (from 4.6 to 5), as well as empowering his attack to inflict hemorrhage and magled status effects.
The buff lasts for 35 seconds. After the duration ends the tokens are reset down to 30.
Special weapon: The Bat
Normal swing with a slightly larger lunge. (about a third of coup de grace)
Special weapon: The Shovel
Normal swing with no lunge. The survivor doesn't get a speed boost after being hit and instead receives a 5% Hindered debuff for 10 seconds.
Special ability: The Scissors
Toss up to 5 scissors in a 5 second window of time. The scissors bounce twice off of geometry of the level. If at least two scissors hit the survivor then the survivor takes a state of damage. Cannot down. If the survivor was injured apply deep wound status effect.
Special weapon: The Scythe
Instadown attack with a windup and a longer reach but a smaller lunge (Half of normal)
would love 2 see dude as a killer lol this goes hard
New Killer: The Dude
Base Terror Radius: 40m
Max Base Movement Speed: 5.0 m/s
Power: Genocidal Instinct
*The Earth has given you a mission, and you are not one to let it down*
Ability 1: Molotov Cocktail
Ability 2: Gun Armory (no reloads)
I love the menu, it sounds like trapper's menu too but it fits well the postal dude and his chase is just wesker's on steroids and i love it
Postal 1 was so much different from everything afterwards... it's practically a separate game unto itself. Genuinely disturbing. and a lot more believable in terms of the insanity (which isn't played for cheap laughs).
I think it would be a cool idea that on the killer pov he says lines and junk like normal but on the survivor side he just murmurs to himself due to how bad he is mentality
