The product is great. The instructions provided not so much. You tube to the rescue. Video was super helpful and clear. Just put two of these into the bed of my new 2024 Ram 1500. No spray in liner so no drilling even required. Thanks for this!
Thanks for this video. I went from having Tacoma with many tie down points to 2021 RAM 1500 with 4 tie downs. Also noticed your boards running perpendicular to the bed, never knew that trick! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos, thanks again!
Just finished installing today! Another great video and I am super happy with the tie downs so far. Fantastic addition to the bed! Next will be the interior light upgrade tomorrow! Thanks as always man!
Just installed them on my 2021 Ram 1500 short bed Big Horn...... after watching this video, it was very easy to do. I think it will make my life much easier. What kind of straps where you talking about if you dont use rachet straps ?
I use them to keep my kids 4 wheelers in place when driving around and for lumber runs. Love how many tie down points this gives me compared to the 4 OEM ones.
I have a 2016 ram 1500 with a drop in bedliner in the 6' bed. I don't have any holes anywhere in my liner besides the 4 corner tie downs. Are there factory holes in my bed and if so how do I find out where? Or do I just have to drill out the metal too?
Did you ever made a video how to install the bed truck rails because in this video you said you were going to make a video but I can’t find it. If you have a link please post it here. Thanks.
Unfortunately I didn't. Time just got away. I'm thinking about doing a parts walkthrough on my truck in the next video and can talk through those lesser filmed projects I have done. If you have any questions through, let me know. Thanks! WF41
@@WaterFowler41 I think he was talking about the carpet/padding it looks like you have wrapped around the ends of the 2x6 so it doesn't scuff up the bed.
Haha if I was planning to add nutsert products to my Raptor, yes for sure but this was the only project that tested my hand endurance with these little doohickeys.
I believe you messaged me on Instagram too but I don’t know the exact size of these. If you’re trying to fill the existing holes in the bed, maybe use a micrometer to measure them so you can purchase the correct nutsert diameter for them? Otherwise reach out to Deezee and see if they can give you some info.
@@WaterFowler41 After you messaged me I realized that the nutserts come in the package with the tie-downs. I actually bought some and installed them yesterday. Thanks for posting the video.

I taped my nutserts with a rubber mallet and they went in pretty tight without exposing the metal to posible rust.
I finally finished installing the kit thank you for the video it help a hole lot .. plus it looks great on my Reble .. thanks again Sr .....
The tie down rivet system is great. I will be doing this. Good video. What i dont like is modifying my truck to fit bull rings.
Right on

Great idea, thank you. What's your experience been with them so far? I would imagine you couldnt put too much full on them?

@@WaterFowler41 Huh, interesting. Sounds good. I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the reply.

Sorry man I’m not sure about the older rams. All the 5th gen rams were pre drilled
Good video What is the part no for the nut insert? Is the nut insert part of the Tie-Down bracket?
It comes as a complete package!
I'm assuming I should get these after bed liner? or should I install before getting bed liner?
I'd do a bedliner first then come back in with the tie downs afterwards. Bedliner installers may spray over your tiedowns instead of removing them.
keep the great videos coming!

i cannot find this product, can someone post the direct link?
Is there any reason why these tie downs won't work with a Ford F-250?
No idea I dont have an f250 so I can’t provide much guidance
nice video gonna try those. I have a question though ,where you get the 2x4 mount bracket ?
That’s a 2x6 I cut to fit the bed, keeps small stuff from sliding around.
@@WaterFowler41 what about the bracket holding the 2x6?
There are slots formed into the bed sheet metal to hold a 2x. So just cut a board to length and it will drop into the slots. Nothing else needed.

@@lxa71975 Yup! just a couple pieces of carpet cut to protect the edge of the wood. Sorry
I hope by now you have purchased one of those nutcert installer tools from HF. 😊 Great video. I'll subscribe just to see what you're up to.

Will these go on a 2022 ram 1500?
Yup

Awesome!! How’s your hands? Mine were pretty sore after installing all the tie downs.
Thanks so much for this, the included instructions are complete garbage!
