@@warriorsbreakdown yeah all those injuries & minutes past seasons rly wore his body down…. He’s just not as fast or athletic anymore…. It’s been rly rough to watch him struggle after all he’s done in the past for the Dubs, especially playoffs
This is why Looney MUST remain in the rotation and why he’s STILL important to this team, just don’t play Saric tho because that’s when problems start occurring!!!!!
Looney was always in the rotation, he just played too many games and was worn out. Get him saved up as a big body for the Western conference big men. And yea unfortunately no more Saric, he's been terrible
Might be Looney's last year. His contract is only guaranteed for $3M (unless they win the title). If Joey wants to duck the luxury tax + resign Klay, they might need to cut Looney.
Fair, or try to resign him at a smaller contract? I'm not as familiar with contracts/salary-terms and whatnot, hope he can be brought back as a backup/vet presence
@@warriorsbreakdown Steph, Wiggs, Dray, GP2, Kuminga, Moody, Pod, TJD, Lester, Gui, Looney = 11 players = $145.9M 2 min players = $3.8M That equals 149.7M for 13 players. The luxury tax line is projected at 171M. If Klay wants more than 20M, the Ws will go over the tax line. Joey wants to get under the tax due to the repeater tax. Cutting Looney would free up another $3M to give to Klay (still would need to sign another minimum player).
Look thats the line up klay can still start if kuminga is hurt or needs rest but klay as the number one guy of the bench is rite no disrespect to klay.let steph them put a lead up n klay n crew finish them. And he can start if steph is hurt
Loon the ULTIMATE professional always ready any time, anywhere. Moses learning from him no doubt
Definitely, solid backup for the future (if contract works out)
Nice to see Looney have his moments 😊
Finally lol

They been saving him for the playoff, as he just taken a step back. But TJD is a lot better with how fast the pace of the game is right now.
Is it just me or does Looney looked like he slimmed down.
@@shyamnatarajan5149 him and Wiggins were not in shape. After 82 games they better be in shape now.
@@Tai-y1d Agreed with this 100%. TJD is the better starting center but all depends on matchups in playoffs

This was a really hard game to watch. Thank god they pulled through
Seriously. I was just laughing for the first 3 quarters and talking to myself "oh here we go again"
Rotation going forward should be
Starters:
Curry
Klay
Wiggins
Draymond
TJD
Bench unit:
Cp3
Podz
Moody/Gp2
Kuminga
Loongoat
I can fuck with this. Super deep roster, but gonna need Klay/Wigs to play "as expected"

Yeee appreciate it!

Hey they should start steph dray kuminga trace n pods bench klay cp3 loon wiggins n moody
Klay is doing great in the starting lineup, so keep him in. Having a rookie in your starting lineup isn't ideal in the playoffs

Good job!
Appreciate it!
