- This video showcases Vladimir Gambledor Korzinin and his deep runs in 2 final tables from Triton Poker's recent series held at Monte Carlo. Vladimir Korzinin is relatively new to poker and decided to join in 6-figure buy in tournaments against the most elite poker players alive today. To say he did well would be an understatement. After this festival, Gambledore is now the winningest Estonian Poker Player, and it isn't particularly close. I hope you enjoy this wild video!

This guy figured it out. You can always maintain the perfect poker face if you have literally no idea how good or bad your hand is.
It all could have immediately ended on that first hand. I don't know why the guy who flopped king high flush would snap fold like that.
@@zackj997reflex
TRUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@@zackj997 Because he didn't flop king high flush? He had Kc9c and the flop came 3sQs2c. Xuan had an extremely easy decision here, he was behind every bluff other than a worse K. He had a worse flush draw (3 to an assumed 4), a worse straight draw (three to a 9->K outer vs an A->5 or 2->6 open), no pair to protect his position. He loses to any ace, any 4 to flush, any 3+ to straight w/A, any pair, etc. etc.

The fact that he tried multiple times to throw away the game and get going only to be handed a win is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen in poker.
statistically, if your playing every hand, you have 50/50 chance to win because you only need have a better hand than your opponent in that moment in time. this guy had better hand when he needed it even when probabilities to get the better hand were not very high.

He was always good at picking the right times to say something. Wether it was a moral boost, something wise or even something sad it always hit perfectly at the right time and at the right context. Thanks for the awesome video man

Ohhh sweet. Nice uncle!
The craziest thing is, that even Estonians don't know who he is. I'm from Estonia and had never heard of this guy. Our poker federation didn't really know anything about him too.
And now he is #1 on Estonia’s all time money list. I really wonder if we’ll ever see him at a poker table again
He's number one against some of the best online players in the world. Goes to show that those all time money lists need a lot of context in terms of accurately reflecting the player's level (I mean, nobody is going to say that Vlad is better than Ottomar Ladva or Markku Koplimaa, for example).
Nevertheless, Vlad's few days were simply brilliant, and he was a breath of fresh air.
I hope he'll win the WSOP ME next 😆

The character, the narration, the story line. How can it get much better?
I found my self inspired, laughing to the point of tears and believing in Estonian magic by the end. Excellent work on this video.
I love how he was actually trying to throw the tournament to give the win to Ossi because he liked him and still won it lmao
After placing that final bet he looked genuinely excited for his opponents odds. What a dude.
This is what we call "Suffering from intelligence"
He's not dumb, but he doesn't overthink it. He looks like he doesn't even care, but you can still see him calculating.
It seems that he genuinely didn't care about winning, he just went "whatever happens - happens" several times, sometimes it even looked like he was trying to lose.
He's incredibly calm during these games too.
I think that was what lead to him winning - pros don't expect someone to just walk in and play for "whatever" as a result. They were overthinking his actions and gave them more meaning than he himself did
And these notes in the end seem to prove this attitude :)
Which all just boils down to luck in the end.
@@davidk4082 It does, it's a randomized card game, that's the point of it all, but he takes calculated risks, not just blindly risking it as it may appear, which is what he wants you to believe

18:40 I genuinely find great wisdom in what Santa said and I think it applies to literally anything competitive. In essence he's saying you can't lose if you don't care about winning. If all you care about is winning or being better than everyone else then you are always setting yourself up for failure. It's not only unhealthy for your mind even if you win, but it's setting an unrealistic expectation. He decided to enter and just have fun with it, to do it for himself just because he can, win or lose. No anxiety no stress, he just dosent care about winning so no matter where he places he can't lose. Dude straight up said he tried to give the win to his opponent in the end and took a crazy bet. Man's just wants to enjoy life and make people happy and that took him to this first place spot with little to no experience so quickly. Granted I don't doubt the guy is also probably really smart too.
Appreciate this🙏
Well, I disagree with one thing. It is true that if you dont care about winning, you can’t lose. But you also can’t win, because you don’t really care. If you are hyper competitive, yes losing will destroy you, but winning is not worse than usual. It is actually the greatest thing ever. If you work hard and dedicate everything , seeing the huge pay off in the end is the greatest feeling in the world.
