    This is truly packed with wisdom!! It's fascinating to relate to a lot of stories and lessons from mythology that are still applicable. And the dichotomy between "Ambition" vs "Contentment" was honestly eye-opening!

    9:50 If you are lower on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, it's ambition. If you are higher, it's greed.

    If anyone wants to read Indian history then go to US department of defense website,
    Mythology means myth ,
    If any one not interested in literature then start visiting civilizational site's and ancient temples because my ancestors are carved everything on temples.
    Bharat is an ancient civilization

    28:44 "humans are the only species which can be compassionate"
    Elephants, dolphins, chimpanzees, bonobos, etc. also display compassion.

      for animals compassion comes by birth naturally, but for humans we inculcate compassion by way of practice.

      Diff between Indian thought and people's behavior....he said most people are acting from scarcity mindset...not Indian thought.

    • @TheMalllu
      @TheMalllu 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it is karma . it can be certain and/or uncertain too. but there will neverthless be consequence to anything and everything. i beliece this is what he mean.

    The problem with mythology is When the event is not documented or documented late after the event its termed as mythology by future generations that dosent mean the events or the person associated with event are false rather many scholars like jordan maxwell claim jesus is also a mythological figure some say he is white some say he was black some say he was middel eastern , jesus existed is a fact weather he is white black or middle eastern is myth

    30:28 "western model, one rule for everyone without looking at the context"
    Referring to "the west" as single homogenous entity and saying things like the west has one rule for everyone sounds like oversimplification

    • @TheMalllu
      @TheMalllu 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      i think it actually is. infact so called clarity, definitiveness,achivement has been made the golas for everyone. and thats kind of simplification

    World just need to adopt their own indegenous polytheistic world view, not following A levantine-Arabic Foreign god like Yaweh,Allah,Jesus etc who came to you as attche with Monotheist Colonization, earlier Colonization was Imperialism which does not impose A religion on the conquesred people, and polytheists are always great at Diversity by virtue of Various Gods' worship, not Monotheists.

    First of all, stop calling India aka Bharat's history a mythology or a myth. Indians are Hindus and will always remain so. India/ Bharat is the most ancient civilizations on earth which originated human civilization and knowledge and consciousness. Stop disrespecting it.

    This guy has no concept of truth when he talks about the oldest religion on the planet l! If you are just hungry for such deception and good English - then the standards of seeking has stopped to a worse degree!
    If you want truth, you need to bring in a practicing monk to expound on this Vedic culture! Not a charlatans like Devdutt who grazes on books as a cow does in a grass field, but never touches or tastes the roots!
    This guy is a great example of English fluency and knowledge deceptivity!

    What is the source of his information, certainly not the original Sanskrit scripture because his knowledge of the language is ZERO. He dared to write a bhasya on Gita no not tika, bhasya he wrote surpassing Sankaracharya, Tilak, Aurobindo, Vibekanda
    Such is the state of affairs, how he is killing Himduism in front of the Western world.
