Reading & Northern 425 - The Santa Claus Express

On December 3rd & 4th, the Reading & Northern's venerable Pacific #425 led Santa Claus trips on the Reading & Northern from Tamaqua, PA. Most of the trips went railroad north on the heavy grade to Haucks and eventually the Hometown High Bridge. This led to fantastic stack talk and angles not usually available during the Autumn Color trips. The 3:30 departure put several popular spots on the grade in or just past the "golden hour". With a 1472 inspection looming at the end of the year, this may be the last time we see the 425 on this stretch of railroad for a while. Enjoy!
