Thanks for video, for the midi clock issue it looks like you might be forcing it out of sync by using the tap tempo on the line 6. If the midi clock host is the rc500 then the tap tempo should always come from their. For example, I use rc500 as host, but if I tap tempo on my delay pedal, I am telling it to ignore the clock. The other way is to make the delay pedal the host and always use its tap tempo. The rc500 can be set to receive the clock in that case. Hope it helps

I have run the gamut on this issue, the mini clock stops, sending information from the boss units with a "all start/all stop" message. Are the only way to continue the clock is to use a metronome feature. Just a bit of a hiccup, but not a dealbreaker.

Hi Kevin, I didn’t know that the Nux A/B pedal could substitute for a Boss FS-6. I’ll have to check that out. The FS-6 takes up a lot of real estate on the pedal board, and doesn’t have a 9v DC plug, so it’s running on battery, which is a problem. The Nux is DC-9-volt only, which is better than battery only. Also, your midi-synch issue is fixed by a setting under RYTHM. Long press RHTHM [ON/OFF], go to STOP parameter, change from [LOOP STOP] to [OFF]. The midi single will keep synching till you turn the rhthm off. That creates a new problem - the drummer doesn’t realize the song is over when the loop stops. Oh well, hopefully everyone’s had a few drinks and doesn’t care.

thank you for the comment on midi sync, yes, it certainly solves the issue, but unfortunately creates another problem of a constant unchanging metronome

Thanks for the vide. Have you tried to BPM sync the helix to the RC500? This way you dont have to Tap the tempo. Not sure if it works though:)

Yes I have- unfortunately the sync feature does not work unless a loop is playing. turning off the loop creates a sharp difference in the time sync

Thanks for this ... I have the same model , minus the button problem (thankfully) ..lol
if you decide to invest in the rc600 I would suggest you look up Matt Bolton.. he is doing absolutely amazing things w the 600.. best I’ve seen by far...he live streams all his gigs (usually 3 or 4, or 6 times a week ) and he has zero glitches w it ...

That button. Issue sounds like a dirty contact. I would try spraying good contact clear on it. And let it dry good. I would think that could be simple fix

use battery.. ground looping on power supply affects the frequency of the pedal..
