Best place for a looper is the effects loop if you have one😏That way you can get all the clean delay reverb etc and then the overdrives/fuzzes and distortions can be used over the top easily
what would you recommend to be able to loop guitars \ drums and such for songs, i.e. verse and chorus tracks? Maybe 4-5 songs .....woul like to have a few songs pre built, but also fine doing them on the fly...most of the background done with some accents played live as the prebuilts tracks play.
There can be several reasons : during a performance you may want to silence one track for a while but keep the other one playing, tracks can have different lenghts (eg. 8 bars and 4 bars)...

The drum can have part A for verses, and part B for chorus, Intro and End??
i do not understand the two tracks thing if i can just play over the original one without changing track
