Nice outfit , nicely operated but the reality is after sawing up a tree eg. beech , ash etc. blocks of timber will never be laid out as handy as that as shown here , not a criticism just an fact
Either you are joking or you've never had to split much wood. Or perhaps you are young and VERY strong, like Paul Bunyan? This is a fabulous idea, an awesome piece of equipment!
You could, if you had to. I have split 1 full cord (128 cu ft) in 20 minutes. Perfect conditions, really easy splitting wood, and over 40 years ago. I now use an excavator splitter much like this one and will never go back (can't - I'm too old now) Also if you will notice the wood is loaded on to the trailer as part of the process. At least another 20 minutes of sweating and aching old joints is involved in this as well. I DO see the benefit of this machine!
neatest thing i have seen in a while
i think you need some new bushings on the end of your stick... lol
Nice

+john holmes That's why you pull or carry the logs out to the landing with the Excavator prior to cutting. :)
Skid the logs out - Lay out the logs parallel to the trailer - kick every other out when you saw them - done
1 cord seasoned oak,and that's a pretty smart idea,,,pretty fart smella ya is ;)
Looks expensive to run,, and slow,,, better than using and axe the..
I have toys like that - because it’s cheaper to burn diesel than to use
My back 🤷🏽♂️
Its a cool "tool" ... But you could do it much faster by hand, no ?? I don't see the benefit to this machine.
