I owned 2 sea containers for 10 years. Had to move them. The struggle is real ! I love what they do for me. Store tools, cars, equipment etc.

Hi from the UK these Chinese diggers look pretty good there's a few over hare at a good price point and they have yanmar dissels on the bigger stuff and briggs and Kohler on smaller stuff so good engine's and good prices it's a win win for people who don't use them every day 👍
That’s where they fit in well in the US too. I am very happy with mine, it definitely has its place and capabilities

Crazy over build foundation. I used 6" sonotube 1ft in ground 2 foot out of ground worked awesome
I plan on building on top of this. I do feel alot better after hearing about your foundation tho.

Did you consider sonotubes? - they would have saved you the hassle of shuttering and a lot of readymix - still your way works and that is the main thing. Best wishes from the uk😊

I am watching this video where you place this green container.
I also saw that other video of the white container with the placement on the green one. Why didn't you place the two containers against each other and weld them together at the top. Then you would have more work space in the garage if you had removed the side walls. With the walls you could have made a roof along your garage to place your machines under.

While I appreciate your patriotism if your going to leave the flag up during hours of darkness it should be lit. They make some good inexpensive solar lights for that purpose. I’m sure you’ll be pouring more footings in the future; Sonotubes would probably save you some work and concrete, I think your depth only needs to be below the frost line. The diagonal measurement is irrelevant when check for square it only needs to be the same in both directions; looks like you got it right in the end. You are one hard working dude that’s for sure.
I actually forgot about putting a light on it at night.
I thought about sonotubes but they only had 12” tubes in stock and that seemed to small.
I’d do some things different when it comes to forms next time

I had my doubt about using the dozer to pull the Container onto the footings. Butt u did-it. tools inside didn't make-it..
