I think that's one of the best bosses in the entire Elden Ring, the only bosses I kinda like in the base game are Margit, Godrick and Malenia. Messmer, Midra and P Knight were good too. They are all balanced around 10 Scadu levels, I'd say.

The Scadutree Avatar, out of all the remembrance bosses in the dlc, this is the one boss I had ABSOLUTELY no thoughts that it could even be a remembrance. I first thought it was like a mini boss similar to the Erdtree Avatars, NOT A THREE PHASE FIGHT.

@@Tschoii90it was pretty fun imo, but I was using a brass shield to block his attacks zoom attacks and some of his movements so maybe that changed my experience
Flame Spear Ash of war hits hard, especially if you hit close up, your stab and the projectile hit the trees head. Heavy Throw from Messmers spear also hits hard.

We might just wind up with a 5-10 part series of him getting humbled by the final boss. Anyone whose build isn't completely broken is likely to struggle on that fight to a degree greater than pretty much any other boss Fromsoft has ever put out.
@@bunklypeppz Yeah, he took me 10 hours with a semi-broken build. And then there is the Asmon build that I gotta try for NG+. But he was level 333 too to be fair, that shit would never have worked for me at 190.

@@lukatosic09Exactly. Character level doesn't matter too much for PvE. If you have your stats distributed well that allows you to deal enough damage and not die in one hit, you will be fine in the DLC as long as you have enough shadow tree blessings.

The skill is so dumb because ill get into a match against it and the opponent wont even play. They will just only use that move until I die of blood loss. No using normal attacks or anything

Yea its even more broken when you understand true combos. Spamming the skill itself is annoying, but landing a running r2, which with backhand blades you'll most likely get clipped, and then follow with swift slash....ouch

You need to predict when he will launch at you and then swing your sword, you just need to stagger him, sword of damnation is the best bc of the ash of war hitbox. For the ruins map, it does show part of the map, it’s the finger ruins at the south part of the map and the north part of the map, the 3rd ruins is in his building

Think about all that chunk at the bottom. Its Bayle, Pudrescent knight and Jori. That big ass chunk and theres 3 bosses. Theres not even interesting side quest to unveil. Disappointing asf. And most NPCs have no thought nor effort for unique quests. They just die. Okay die get equips.

@@pipedownpipsqueak ??? You mentioned jori, which is further up. Even if we are only talking about the cerulean coast and jagged peak, this is nothing out of the ordinary. Look at the mountaintops of the giants. There is quite literally only 2 actually notable bossfights and that shit is 3 map fragments. Other than that there is also only 2 questlines in the whole region (3 if you count alexander summon), which is less than the bottom of the eastern map.
Look at the map fragment that guy gave you. You’ll find that it matches those hollowed ruins to the south where there are a bunch of fingers and snakes walking around

to get to the green area there is an illusory wall right of the grace in front of commander gaius. to get rid of the wall you need to use the O'Mother gesture that you can find in Bonny Village

At that level you're in the max bracket. Iirc 300-actual max, so it probably only works because of just how many levels that encapsulates.

Afro the ash of war you were talking about is wing stance. It's found on castle ensis. You can find it find it by goint out the balcony from previous grace of boss
Gravity thrust ash is a very good ash of war for pve, it procs bleed very quickly when u use the follow up attack especially when infusing something like the guts greatsword with bleed, to get it you have to kill general Gauis and put on the ash you get from his lance onto a different weapon
you being able to get thru most of the dlc at 150 is impressive honestly 😭 I was at like 247 getting bodied but I was on my first NG+. I feel like if you’re still on the first playthru it may not be as hard but maybe i’m just bad at the game 😂😂
Golden Crux is a unique skill from a boss remembrance (wont spoil it all the way), but that move is absolutely goated in PVP. It wont 1 shot unless theyre super squishy for some reason, but you can torque it up to get someone 1 poke away from death after you get a hit with the skill. Also is just insanely satisfying and demoralizing to hit in general, even without min-maxing the damage

Afro is the only player I know that will complain/ get upset at a boss for being hard but refuses to use the literal upgrade system to make them more manageable simply because of his “pride” 😂

That ending was me after I beat the Crucible Knight in Stormhil Evergaol and both of the Ulcerated Tree Spirits (which is what that damn sunflower reminded me of in terms of combat). I only wish I remembered the fire pots for those fights so that when I got them down to their last hit point, I could do my Kurt Russell from The Thing impression.

2:37 The Ash of War is called Wing Stance. Castle Ensis, from the Lord's Chamber(?) Site of Grace. The one right before Rellana.
Jump down the balcony to your right and search the tower. There will be a chest there with the ash of war in it
Man, if you think that Swift Slash is OP, you should try out the Lightning Perfume Bottle with Rolling Sparks Ash of War... unlock your camera, aim at the foot of whatever you're killing, and you can literally 1/2 shot bosses if you are using the right talismans. In PvP it one shots people with 99 Vigor.

You should try the bleed/flame + frost build! I’m using it currently with the grave bird quill armor (enhances damage on jump attacks)
I use a Cold Godskin Peeler with frozen mist AoW (they stack damage) with Eleonora’s Poleblade, claw talisman for jump attacks, two head turtle talisman
Amazing damage and the status buildup/proc time is disgusting

150 is no longer the standard it's now 200 or above after the dlc and there's no problem with match making even if you're high level, you can still be matched up to 150 even if you're 260 since i tried it already
For the Yuri quest from the manus metyr church u want to find the thing on the top right of the map, looks like 4/5 little objects converging inwards inside a circle. This quest will ultimately unlock something ur gonna want to do so dont forget afro! (Weird wording was to avoid spoilers of any kind)
Little hint you should explore the south (blue flower field) a little bit more. One area should've opened up there and another part is related to the map you got.
I'm not sure if it's truly "more broken", but definitely an OP Ash of War to try out is Ghostflame Call. You can get it over on the top level of the Cerulean Coast, and it's literally just "Ghostflame Ignition" from the "Death's Poker" (Deathrite Bird Attack) except you can put it on any weapon AND change scaling. The damage is very nice

Frenzy or lightning perfume bottle weapon with rolling sparks ash of war is broken, aim directly down with the camera when kicked off and use the rolling sparks ash so that all the explosions hit in 1 spot to do big damage, and if you use buffs it’s even more broken, I recommend the bloodsucking cracked tear and fire/ligthning cracked tear depending if your using the frenzy flame perfume or the lightning
I’ve noticed they really focused on mobility and stances with these new weapons and I love it. The amount of things I’ve dodged with the death knights greataxe ash is crazy. I feel like I got a chance now😂

Near the 5 seeds, there's an albinauric shaft, kill it and you get Gaius lower armor, if you care to collect it. Also, the maps do show where you need to go.
Yo afro, you were using a lot of jump attacks in this video and that’s honestly why you were getting hit most the time. I just want to remind you that yes, jump attacks do more stance damage but it leaves you open to getting attacked a lot more. right of the giaus grace there is a statue. you need the o' mother emote found north of bonny village under a tree. emote infront of the statue and it will move aside.
The milady winged stance ash of war is in the enis castle the grace right before the boss room u just go to the balcony and jump off the side to get to the tower across it to get it.
Bloodfiends arm with royal knights resolve ash is insanely broken in pve, charged heavy procs bleed in like 1 or 2 hits
@AfroSenju XL You should try and get the Sword of Night (which is a katana). I feel like you’ll like it and it looks awesome. You can get it after finishing Swordhand of Night Jolan’s quest. The quest is related to Ymir's quest (the one who gave you the ruins map)
The milady stance ash of war you are looking for is in castle ensis, the dungeon where you fight rellana..

There’s a weapon called falx that has a similar ash of war, but a bit better. The weapon move set is a bit better overall in my opinion too
Falx's ash of war is not even close to swift slash, at least in pvp
Maybe it’s basic, but a Sacred Milady paired with a brass shield has been my go-to for most of the dlc. There are so many enemies that are just begging to be countered with its quick follow up, especially the first half of the Rellana fight

Afro I recommend using the crimson bubble tear u can get it in the base game basically what it does is when u hit 21% health it restores 0.3% of ur max health

Hey Afro. Do you remember the Priestess Heart you got soon after you defeat Bayle? There’s another heart at jagged peak on a lower platform after you take that wind jump. To use these infinite consumables, you need to strip your character of his armor.

You want another broken ash of war? Rolling sparks for the perfume bottles. Aim it at the ground, whoever walks over it when it goes off is getting deleted from the game code, bosses included.

Spinning Gravity Thrust is an ash based off one of Radahn's attacks. It can be put on most swords but works REALLY well on a bleed guts gs. I use mine on my Great Katana cuz I love it. PVE, it DESTROYS!!! Might be a bit dodgeable in PVP but if you hit them, they're probably dead lol
