a strong leader does not mean you should kill, kill, kill. A strong lleader does not mean you should curse and swear at your enemies. A strong leader should keep his composure and stay dignified and can control his emotions when pressured at the same time keeping true to his objectives. Assertive but not violent.

So far he is doing what he has promised in terms of international relations and dealings... I just hope he can bring the same effect to put internal issues particularly in poverty, food security, job availability, medical and education. Yes I am not his supporter but if it's best interesf of the filipino, I will support him.

If the international law you are referring to is from the Hague Court, I am sorry, but that is not true international law. This is because that court is not recognized by major world powers, including China, the United States, and Russia. Therefore, the rulings of that court cannot be regarded as international law.

Marcos's father moved a lot of property to the United States, so it's not surprising why he became a pawn of the United States to fight against China. In addition, leaders of other ASEAN countries don't want to turn the South China Sea issue into a world problem, which will allow western countries to interfere in their policies. So I think the Philippines may be marginalized in ASEAN in the future.

If the weaker nations neglect manners, and despise and insult their stronger neighbors, they will bring upon themselves unprecedented calamities, just as it is said that "it is a great calamity for a small country to insult its larger neighbor with rudeness." This is a profound reflection of the basic understanding of international relations in ancient times: countries should deal with each other according to the established order of supremacy, especially the weak countries need to respect the powerful, so as not to misbehave will lead to serious consequences.
