There is a great need for these ideas in modern workplace culture. Workplace trauma and turbulence ripples out into family life and society, but it seems any time something like this is brought up, HR is on high alert and the person expressing the problem suddenly becomes a high risk liability and plans are set in place to neutralize them rather than repair the relationships and culture. You're moving us all in the right direction Dr. Marie!

These principles shared underline the importance of a high-quality performing team. That team is built on these focus areas shared by Dr. Marie. With the varying mix of generations, culture, and standards throughout the workforce, there is an urgent need to be aware and address these issues in the right way shared in this Ted talk. Thank you for always solving problem areas from the root cause and not the effects only.

Dr Marie Gervais succinctly illustrates my experience of the landscape and building contracting industries. Uncovering, dismantling, and healing workplace trauma is a key component to ensuring that these professions maintain their current and future workforces.
We are in a time where fewer and fewer people choose jobs in the trade services.
Psychological safety, respect, and camaraderie is required to develop proficient and skilled teams.
Thank you for a great talk!!🙌🏼
