excellent !! love this comparison. I am a professional and nice to see this in depth comparison since I have both and agree what I found as well but this is really great to see on your skin. I can clearly see what it does. Love your reviews.. following
Great video omg I bought Dior first And my dry skin hates it. Is dry patch hot mess even on my hand. Than I tried Mac and omg just so skin like but sadly just light coverage. For dry skin is just lovely ☺️
I have the Dior Backstage and love it, is great for our hot Aussie climate. It is the only foundation I have that sits on my skin beautifully, I want to try one of the Dior Forever ones, I just need to go and sell a kidney to buy it hahahaha
Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless has been reported to be THE DUPE, for Dior Forever , just FYI, I do love the Maybelline, for some reason the alcohol in that one doesn't hurt my skin. I think it's father down on that ingredient list, meaning it doesn't contain as much alcohol as Dior, Chanel &a few others. The luxe foundations seem to contain alcohol more often than high end or drugstore in my personal observation.
@@KaraLey98 I didn't know it was a dupe! I haven't tried the Fit Me foundation but I LOVE the fit me powder for combo skin. Yes about the alcohol. It's quite strange!
@@Fifty-sense thank you 4 that tip, which you just gave me, regarding the powder! And if I give it a try, hopefully it won't be an assault on my bank account!
I was thinking about getting the Dior to wear on my arms when I wear a sleeveless dress. Have you tried wearing this foundation on your body? BTW, I would love it if you could do a best of Benefit video! I did something so nutty today! I purchased Oh La La Lift from France which has been discontinued in most parts of the world. I’ve been going through the 5 stages of grief ever since it was discontinued and felt all the emotions - anger, denial….I’ve tried so many dupes that didn’t work out. I even wrote to Benefit. 🤪
I'm so happy that you purchased the Oh LA Lift! I remember you telling me how devastated you were that it was discontinued. You deserve to spoil yourself! You no longer need to grieve 😂. I hate it when brands discontinue/change formulas. I don't think the Dior would work on the body. It's not transfer proof enough.
Thanks, Sue! Writing to Benefit was the “bartering” stage of my grief. It was one of those great products I could keep in my fridge (next to the Avene spray) Hopefully France can supply to me for a little bit longer….
I’m actually tired of brands getting rid of my favorite foundations for too radiant or too dry - the original was a no fail hurry up and get out the door your skin but better. And my other absolute favorite that looks good over skincare and applies well with every technique and matched my skin color exactly was Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless original. Soooo disappointed.
Oh yes!!! Most Dior foundations that I have run across contained alcohol which is so drying to the face , and which also gives a flat appearance to the skin after it is applied. If one does have an oily complexion or combination oily then the oil will combat the drying effects of the alcohol so those lucky ones can depend on the foundation to perform well☺...but not those of us with normal or dry skin.😓 Also ☝🏼 it's my understanding that Mac did not re formulate their face and body only updated the packaging and the name of the foundation by adding the word: *Radiant* in the title..😷💕
@@KaraLey98 I was also told they've just changed the name. But the order of ingredients has been changed around slightly. I detect a very subtle change in that it doesn't form a film the way it used to 😔. It makes a difference to my oily skin but if your skin is dry, it will be fine.
@@Fifty-sense you mean that when using fingers to apply, it didn't react in that same way? If order of ingredients is different then I Must get a new bottle, since this is my favorite. Do you think it is just as good as before?
This is a side by side comparison. Which one do I prefer? 😘
I have the Dior Backstage and I am a Aussie like Robyn Green..... and like her - I love it too ! lol
It really is a great one!

Haha!! We also have to hoc a kidney here for Dior!! Goodness knows what I'll do when I run out (of foundation I mean - not kidneys)!! 😆😅

I agree. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Clarins does this often and it's sooo annoying! Grrr!
Why are my posts repeated,
and appear twice below??
Sorry, And I didnt do it, rather it just appeared
Hi Kara. They are not repeated on my side x
I love Dior just wish it was free from alcohol x
Me too!
And free from fragrance! But otherwise beautiful
