Another awesome video Chris! Microshift R9 shifters with the ball bearing on the Sirrus 3 & 4 are really nice! Huge price jump from 4 to 6, woulda been nice to have something in between that included the future shock.
thanks for posting. Wish I had seen this before I bought my 3.0. I had the darndest time trying to figure what I was getting as I went from 2.0 and up. I still would have chosen the 3.0 but the process would have been much less painful. Personally I think the 3.0 is the best value. Its only around 2 lbs heavier than the 4.0 and it has the carbon fork. An all carbon frame is good unless you end up crashing/falling alot which I believe can really damage the frame. I see so many fitness riders deciding they HAVE to have clip less pedals but then fall down at stops as they try to adjust to clipping in and out. I see lots of road rash. Why the need for the extra 5% efficiency (maybe) when you're riding for fun and exercise? It looks like peer pressure to me but alas I'm off topic.

Great video as I learned a lot. I have the 1.0 My breaks squeak a lot even with new brake pads. It said my breaks are the V linear pull, are different than are called road breaks? I have the original brakes changed the bike shop put other one on and called them road brakes. Do you think they are different from the original brakes because I don't know the difference? Thank you

Hello,can you please suggest me a very good hybrid bike with tires no less than 40mm,right now im thinking about trek fx dual sport 4 and specialized sirus x 4,which one would better or maybe some other brand bike?
You'll love that bike..I have the 2021 4.0 sirrus in sliver..the bike is light and it moves..even the light lavender color is ok..when you see it in person the bike looks more white with a slight tint of lavender..not as feminine as the specialized site makes it look..I drove 140 miles from NY to Massachusetts to get that bike..so far I changed the crank and the whole system to the 105 shimano 11 speed and added gatorskin tires. The "2021 SIRRUS 4.0 CARBON" in silver and my "2020 GIANT FASTROAD CARBON ADVANCED 1" in red are my best bikes yet..
LOGICAL JAY I'm itching for its arrival, I'm about 100 days away. I currently have a Specilaized Crosstrail, I've logged so many miles on it this year due to having the time off because of Covid 19, but when I do my 50-60 mile rides it starts to feel heavy the last quarter of the ride. I can only imagine what it's going to be like on the Sirrus 4.0. Good idea putting the 2x11 105 group set on, I may do that myself. 👍
@@seattlesfinest1927 your gonna love it..its very smooth..you can also put on the specialized pathfinder pro 700x38 tires if you want to hit some light trails ..right now I'm trying to locate a 2020 matte sage green/aqua 5.0x sirrus which seems impossible to locate...its very rare and specialized removed it from the site to make room for the 2021 models..make sure you see the mark on the crank to indicate its been serviced and checked after that silly recall specialized had..it was a simple fix but every new bike rider made a big thing out of it..just a simple fix for the local bike shop just to tighten the crank..im getting dressed now to do my sunday 20mile ride...😆 lol
@@damionmandy7978 honestly It shift just as good as my ultegra 11 speed..its very snappy..shift very quick and accurate..the tektro brakes stop on a dime..honestly I like the tektro immediately stopping power better than the smooth 105/ultegra shimano braking..

Just because he doesn’t focus on what you want to know, doesn’t make him lame. Maybe jnstead of insulting him, you might just post a question asking what you need to know.

I'm going with Sirrus 6.0 Hopefully this October 2020 they will have a lot in stock.
If you had to pick between the Sirrus 6.0 and the Sirrus X 5.0, which one would it be and why?
